Over these past few nights, I've noticed something strange has been happening to me...

I've built up a tolerance to having my blood sucked, I pass out much less than I used to, but recently... I've found myself physically weak after our "sessions"... I find myself barely being able to stand.

It's like something's eating me from the inside out.

I think I might... die.

But I didn't tell Katsuki.

I didn't tell him that I might be dying.

I didn't want him to worry about me.

Maybe if I told him what was happening, we could have found some way to fix it.

Tonight, he bit into my neck.

As I felt him suck my blood out, I tried my best to keep myself steady.

I don't want him to worry, I have to be as strong as I can be.

Just endure it, it'll be done soon.

I don't want to die while he's awake. He clearly cares about me, and watching me die would be a horrible thing for him to go through...

I just need to keep myself steady.

And despite my best efforts, I collapsed onto the cold stone floor.

I woke up in my bed, a terrible pain in my chest. My hands were shaking, my vision was blurred, my whole body felt cold...

I could tell that this was it, this is the end.

"Jesus... don't EVER scare me like that again, Eijiro."

"...Katsuki, I need to tell you something." I weakly said. "I didn't tell you before, because I didn't want you to worry about me, but I guess I can't exactly hide it anymore, can I?"

"What are you talking about? What did you hide from me?!"

"I... I'm dying."

"THAT'S BULLSHIT, YOU'RE LYING TO ME!!"

"N-no, I'm not." I told him. "I'm going to die... a-and there's nothing we can do about it."

"Nothing we can do about it?!"

"I'm sorry, Katsuki... I didn't tell you, because I know you said that you don't want to outlive me... that you don't want me to die..." I tried not to cry, but it didn't work. "But hey, we had a good time together, didn't we?"

"You really think there's nothing we can do...?" Katsuki asked.

"Yeah... w-we can't do anything."

Katsuki pushed my hair out of the way of the bite mark on my neck. The two puncture wounds hadn't healed over yet.

"Is there really nothing we can do?"

"No, t-there's nothing we can do."

"Let me rephrase that." Katsuki said, bringing his arm up to his mouth. "Is there really nothing I can do?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"You remember how I told you that I used to be a Human, right?" Katsuki asked, biting into his own arm. His blood spilled out of his wound, and he took his hand away from my neck, dipping his finger in his blood. "All that needs to happen for a Human to turn into a Vampire... the Human just needs to have a portion of a Vampire's blood enter their body, and just like that, they will become a Vampire."

"...what are you suggesting...?"

"I CAN SAVE YOU!" Katsuki yelled. "I can give you some of my blood, and just like that you won't have to die!"

"I'M BEGGING YOU, PLEASE JUST LET ME TURN YOU INTO A VAMPIRE, EIJIRO!!"
