Sydney's P.O.V.
"Hi. We're here for the three o'clock fitting." Jordyn says to the receptionist at the boutique. Karen, Nthabi, my mother and I are standing behind her. Karen locks our arms and smiles at me excitedly.I smile back at her and pat her hand. The receptionist leads us behind a curtain to a room that is decorated with wedding gowns. I comment in awe.
"Wait until you find the dress of your dreams." Karen softly tells me. I smile. Another lady walks in with a rack of wedding dresses. Jordyn thanks her. "Okay." Jordyn claps her hands together. "Sydney, pick at least five dresses that you like here and you will then fit them. If none of them work out for you, you'll select more."
I nod. I pick out five dresses and try them out. None of the five excite me. Jordyn sighs. "Let's hear what you're actually looking for. Because I feel like you want something that isn't too...detailed."
"Detailed how?" I ask. "Like a dress that doesn't have lace decorating it or diamonds and jewels." I nod my head. "Yeah, I want a dress that'll make a statement but isn't too loud."
Jordyn smiles. "I know exactly the dress." Jordyn looks through the rack and pulls out a dress. "Try this. Fingers crossed." I take the dress into the fitting booth with me. I step outside after successfully pulling it on with of course, a bit of help. I walk up to the mirror, my lips pressed together.
I smile at the sight of the dress. My smile widens as I twirl. My eyes begin to water. My mother walks up to me and places her hands on my arms. "Yes?" I nod my head happily. "It's the one." I turn to Jordyn. She gives me a thumbs up. "It's perfect."
I fit my evening dress and then get back into my own clothes and allow Nthabi to fit her dress as Bride of Honour. When we're done, Jordyn lets me pick Andre's suit.
I begin to wonder what my ring looks like.
Jordyn leads the way out of the boutique. "Well then. That is it for today. Tomorrow we get our manicures and pedicures and then we go home and rest. Get our beauty sleeps."
We all say our goodbyes to Jordyn for the day. "She's lovely, isn't she?" Karen asks. "She definitely is." I agree. "How about lunch? On me."
Andre's P.O.V.
"We have a few specials on rings but it's only the gold rings." I nod my head. "I'm not after specials. I want a silver diamond ring that stands out."The man pulls out a box of silver rings. "These are some of our finest." I search through the rings for one that would suddenly catch my eye. "This one." The man chuckles. "She must be one hell of a woman." The exterior of the ring is surrounded with diamonds and a big rock in the middle. "Could I please have a silver band as well, for men?"
The man covers his fingers with a silk cloth, neatly and carefully placing the rings into small boxes. Mine is black, Sydney's blue.
He hands me the two boxes. I take them and put them into my pockets. "Enjoy the rest of your afternoon sir. And congratulations." The man formally wishes me. I smile at him and wish him the same as I thank him.
On my way out of the store, I call Elizabeth. "Hey." She greets. "Hi, I just wanted to let you know that we'll make it tonight."
Elizabeth gives me a location and ends the call. After that call, I call a car dealer from Land Rover. "Yeah, is it ready? I need it delivered at my house tomorrow morning, please."
"No problem Andre. I got you." I get into my car and drive back home.

When I get to the house, the girls aren't back yet and Sydney and I are meeting with Elizabeth in a few hours. I was hoping her and I could be together tonight since I won't be allowed to be with her tomorrow. The front door opens and the girls loudly walk in. Nthabi throws her shoes to the side. "I need a drink."
Sydney laughs. "I'll join you just now. The kitchen is just up ahead to your left." Nthabi greets me with a hug before she goes to the kitchen. My mother and Phindile head upstairs, whispering about something.
"Hey." Sydney smiles. I near her with a smile and place my hands around her waist. "How was the fitting?" "It was beautiful, and emotional." She chuckles. "I just hope your suit fits." I lift my eyebrows. "I sure as hell hope so too."
She places her hands on my arms. "Are we still going to see Elizabeth?" Sydney's smile dims. "Uhm, yeah." "Could we please take Nthabi? I don't want to leave her here on her own. And she could use a drink." She chuckles. I nod. "Not a problem." I kiss her forehead and head upstairs.
Sydney's P.O.V.
I join Nthabi in the kitchen who's already helping herself to Jason's bourbon. "You feel like going out?" She turns to me. "I always want to go out. As long as I still get to drink." I chuckle. "Let's go get ready then." I lead the way upstairs.I walk into Andre's room and his naked back is towards me. I shut the door and walk towards him.
I brush my hands against his lower back and wrap them around his waist. I place my right cheek against him. He places his hands atop mine. He pulls me around and cups my face, kissing me twice on the lips. I smile. We let go off each other and start getting dressed.
I look on the bed and Andre has placed a white Calvin Klein T-shirt and a pair of black jeans on the bed. I assume we're going casual then.
I decide on black leather tights and a long sleeved wool turtle neck crop top. I side-plait my hair and add light make-up. Andre stands behind me also trying to use the mirror. "You look good." Andre compliments. I thank him and compliment him too.
We exit the room and Nthabi is downstairs on her phone. She's wearing ripped blue jeans and a white top which she's knotted in the middle.
"Thank God. I was starting to think you guys were going formal." I laugh. We compliment each other and join Andre outside by the garages. Nthabi looks at all of them.
"How do you know where what car is?" I show her the small letters in italics next to each garage. "Wow! A Maserati, a Mercedez Benz, a Range Rover, a Jeep, a Porsche, a Lamborghini?!! I don't even want to see the rest 'cause I'll surely faint."
I side hug her and laugh. "Friend, this will all be yours too just after tomorrow." She softly says. "Even if it is, I can't drive love."
Andre takes the Range Rover out of the garage. Nthabi and I both jump into the backseat. Andre turns and looks at me. "Uh uh white boy. She's sitting with me on this one." Andre shrugs and drives.
