Looking for simple clothing is not so simple when your mind is bothered and it only gets even more bothered when you hear the laughter of the person who caused the trouble. When I walk down the last step of the staircase, I find Nthabi and Sydney seated in the living room watching a movie.

I angrily walk up to the television and switch it off. I look at Sydney. "You gotta go." I say. She looks at me and crosses her legs. "Why?" "Because you obviously don't need me anymore." Nthabi looks between us.

Sydney chuckles. "Listen. Awusuke endleni(move out of the way) and let me be because I don't have the energy for whatever this is." I clench my jaw. "This is my house. We need space and you're the one that has to go."

"Firstly, this is your father's house and no, I will not step foot out of that door. If you so desperately need space then hamba(go)." Sydney says as she points to the door.

Nthabi lifts her eyebrows and leaves the two of us with a glass of wine in her hand. Sydney stands up. "Don't hate the monster you created." I ball my fists. "And another thing. If you ever, lay a hand on me again, I will make sure you regret it."

"I want a divorce." I blurt out. "You can kill me first." Sydney rushes out of the room.

I can't be here right now. I'll lose my mind. I hurry towards the door and walk out.

Keith's P.O.V.
Evelyn and I have a lot to repair and a dinner is a good start. As long as she doesn't burn the building down with all the smoke coming from under her door.

I frown and rush into her room. There's no one in the kitchen but a burning pot on the stove. I run into the kitchen and pull the pot off the hot plate. "Evelyn!" I call.

She comes rushing into the room. "Oh no! I swear I put a timer." I grab a table cloth and try to clear the smoke. "Open the windows." We both laugh whilst coughing. "How did the sensors not go off?" She rhetorically asks. "For a five-star hotel like this, I'm disappointed." I say.

Evelyn sighs as she leans against the wall. "You want to order?" I chuckle and place the table cloth on the counter. "I think you should've started with that idea." Evelyn rolls her eyes. "I'll be back. Don't go anywhere." She exits the room.

I scroll through my phone and find myself staring at Sydney's name. It's a crazy idea to call the woman I'm in love with in my girlfriend's hotel room but it can't be worse than thinking about her whilst I'm on top of someone else. "Whatever." I make the call and exit out onto the deck.

I hope she answers. "Hello?" My posture immediately straightens. "Hey, how's it going?" Sydney sighs. "Well, apart from my one day marriage falling apart, nothing much. What about you?" I lean against the railing and look out at the Cape Town view before me. "I don't know. I've just mostly had you on my mind."

My heartbeat suddenly beats faster from Sydney's silence. "At least someone is thinking about me." I chuckle. She sighs. "Andre said to me he wants a divorce."

I furrow my eyebrows. "He, wants a divorce?" "Yeah. Honestly, it hit home more than I wanted it to. Karen talked me into making him feel my pain, so I told him about our make out and he, he literally almost strangled me. I've never seen him like this. I think-" "Wait, did you say strangle you?" I ask. Andre knowing that Sydney and I made out is really the least of my worries. Hell, I would've told him too.

"Yeah, but I'm not hurt." I calmly sigh. "Where are you now?" "I'm at the mansion. He left." I nod my head.

"I'll drop by tomorrow to see you." Before I can get Sydney's response, Evelyn asks me a question. "See who?" I immediately end the call as I turn around.

"Uhm, Andre. He wants to talk to me. Seems like things between him and Sydney aren't going so great." Evelyn crosses her arms. "That's funny because he just called a minute ago asking me where you are."

I don't say anything because that would only mean I'd have to add to my string of lies that I've being caught out on. Evelyn shakes her head. "You're talking to her, aren't you?"

I look down at the phone in my hands. "You should go, Keith. Now." Before I can convince her to not kick me out, she disappears. I close my eyes and sigh before exiting.

Andre's P.O.V.
I've been driving in what feels like circles and the tank of my car is a quarter away from being empty. That's another frustration on it's own seeing as I cleverly left my wallet in the house.

After burning all that fuel, I find myself outside Elizabeth's house. I hoot twice. There is no way she doesn't know the sound of my Maserati's hoot. She steps out the front door wearing an office dress. She smiles before opening the gate.

I park my car next to hers. "I'm pretty sure I wasn't expecting any guests." She says as I exit the car. I shut the door and walk towards her. "Well, I'm not just any guest. I'm your husband."

Once we're standing close enough, I kiss her on the forehead and embrace her in a hug. She hugs me back. "Someone's in a good mood." I pull away. "Can I stay here for a while? I just need some positive energy around me."

Elizabeth takes my hand. "You know you're always welcome here." I smile at Elizabeth.

At this point, I'm playing this how my mother would want me to. I can't leave Elizabeth because of the company and we did marry in community of property.

Our divorce can never be an option because I could lose everything. But I am still truly married and despite it all, I won't cheat on her. I'm just...I need space.
