Flashback; Split POV:
Julie and Flynn were playing at recess. They ran over to the field to get in on the kindergarten version of a football game. Luke and his friends were playing and Flynn asked Luke if they could play. This other boy, Bobby said "Eww. Girls can't play football! Football is for boys!" Flynn was definitely not having that. She swung one good punch straight to his face and Bobby ran off. Julie and Luke who had been innocent by-standers of the situation turned to each other.
"Hi, sorry about my friend.", they spoke in unison and giggled at their jinx.
"It's okay" Julie said smiling and Luke stuttered for a moment. She was really pretty. He liked her hair.
"Yea, same." He caught up, "I should probably go check on him though. That was a good punch."
Julie laughed and he thought it was the prettiest sound he'd heard. She waved him goodbye and was off with Flynn again.
And so....
That was it. Until one incident many years later in a hallway outside of the music room.
