pit. the name of palutena's right hand angel from kid icarus uprising.
it was like any normal day, the little kids were outside playing, the veteran fighters enjoying the free day master hand gave them. as per usual, dark y/n was seen in the distance with her friends, dark link and dark pit.
pit was walking around with their lighter counterparts and his best friends, y/n and link, and saw her in the distance. "hey link?" the white angel asked the Hylian boy, not tearing his gaze away from the villain. "yes? what is it pit?" link asked, as he turned his head to meet with the angel.
"who is that? i don't think i've never seen her before." pit said as he pointed to dark y/n. the two followed the angel's finger, and saw dark y/n. "oh! that's my darker counterpart, dark y/n. she was pretty hard to beat back in g/n." y/n answered.
pit stared at the dark counterpart, until he heard his friends talking to him, trying to get his attention. the little kids that were playing outside (toon link ness villager kirby) look at them confused.
it even made their dark counterparts look at them. pit blushed as his eyes met with dark y/n's. "pit are you even listening?" y/n asked. "h-huh? what did you say?" pit asked as he ripped his gaze from his friend's darker counterpart, and rubbed the back of his neck. y/n sighed. "if you're going to stare at her like that you might as well go talk to her." she said, rolling her bright e/c eyes.
pit turned bright red. "n-no! besides she'd beat me to a pulp." he said. link chuckled, and y/n laughed; his face totally told them that he liked dark y/n.
pit then went into his room. face-planting onto his bed, he groaned as his face made contact with his bed. "i really do like her. but that wouldn't be right! she's a villain and i'm a hero! ...i should go talk to her-" pit muttered to himself as he got off of his bed. he walked into the hallway and bumped into the dark counterpart herself.
"d-dark y/n!" pit stuttered. as his face burned red. "oh. pit. how are you?" dark y/n said flatly, her red eyes watching the white angel's figure. "i-i'm doing great! h-how about you?" pit stuttered again and he mentally cursed himself for his stuttering problem.
"i'm doing fine. thank you for asking." dark y/n said giving a small smile to the angel, who's blush got worse. "w-would you...would you maybe like to be my friend? i dunno you don't have to i'm just asking and you seem really cool and--" pit began rambling to the female darker counterpart of his best friend before she cut him off.
"iure, why not. i never really got to see my counterpart that often except the time where she defeated me from g/n." dark y/n told the brown haired angel.
days went by and light was moved by dark, the three lighter counterparts befriended the three darker counterparts. pit and dark y/n became closer each day, slowly making each other flustered day by day.
the lighter versions of pit's friends went to talk to dark y/n, while the darker versions of his friend friends went to talk to Pit.
"alright pit, we need to ask you a question." dark link and dark pit said. "dark y/n, we need to ask you a question." y/n and link said.
"do you like dark y/n?" "do you per chance like pit?" the lighter and darker versions asked pit and dark y/n, who both responded with a blush and a nod. they both liked each other, but they were too afraid to confess to each other, each having their own insecurities.
