Day 3 of the vacation
Jory continued to knead down the dough in front of him, pulling and twisting it as he listened to the quiet pop music coming from the radio in the kitchen. His clothes were covered in flour and other ingredients from all the things he'd been cooking. He'd found the kitchen stocked full of all different kinds of interesting things to cook with, and lots of cooking books filled with strange, delicious-looking recipes.
"Oh, how about this!" Robin announces. "You bake Pascal an apple pie for his birthday. You take the seeds out of all the apples, crush them up, and sprinkle them over Pascal's serving with powdered sugar."
"It's not Pascal's birthday," Jory mutters. "And I know how to make poison out of the seeds, I don't need a dead person to babysit me."
"Jory, he will end up killing you. Us dead people are your best chance of getting out of here. And the best way to make sure Patton doesn't get you again is to kill him." Koala reminds him. "Those are the facts, kid, they're bitter and hard to swallow. If you can use sleeping pills or maybe pain killers it would work. Just, make sure no one else eats it. Perhaps a cupcake instead would be better...Oh! What about some murder cookies?"
"I can't kill him," Jory says simply, rolling his eyes.
"And why not? As soon as he is dead we can drag him down with us." Pumpkin reminds him.
Jory stops stirring a moment, staring down at the bowl in confusion. "I-"
"What are you not getting exactly? Pascal is a bastard who is abusive and hurts you. He should be dead Jo!" Robin insists.
"Just..." Jory tears up. "Just stop it, leave me alone. Don't you think I know that?"
"Yeah, poisoning is a bad idea. It might work, but we have to think logically. At least wait till you're home." Cat insists.
"Home?" Jory repeats, staring down at the dough.
"Even if Jory did manage to kill him, I hardly think his mother would take kindly to that. They'd still be in danger, and to be honest I'd say she's even more dangerous than Patton." Lolita adds, drifting into the room.
"Oh...Yeah...That bitch. God, I can't wait for her to die and to get my hands on her. She the reason I haven't gone somewhere else yet, why I'm still stuck here despite dying, I dunno how many years ago." Forgetful mutters. "Although Potter and Seagull would probably want at her first..."
Jory blanches. "Can't...Can't you just...Go? What...What exactly happens after death?"
"Hey, it's gonna be okay Jo. We won't let them get away. Being a ghost isn't so bad..." Forgetful tries to soothe, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "You know, if it's any comfort, you feel like you wanna pass over, you know? Who knows what's out there...But it doesn't feel scary."
"M'gonna be sick..." Jory mumbles. "Wh-Why do you haf'ta get revenge? Can't you just let it go? You said you felt the need to pass over, can't you just do it?"
"Let's not talk about this anymore," Cat says firmly. "Jory, get some water love, have a lie-down."
Jory nods, his hands shaking as he fills a glass with water and hurriedly gulps it down.
Day 3 and 4 of the vacation
"Bunny, come on. Just one drink? For me, please?"
"I- Pascal I don't want to drink. I don't like drinking. Please, don't make me. I don't like the taste or the side effects, Pascal, Please." Logan rambled, fidgeting with his hands.
