Cooking Girl's

Training training and more training it was like this for a while no help was needed and the avengers and the new avengers needed something to do and that was usually training or finding hobbies like Yelena has been trying to cook and bake more but for you, training was the best you could learn to use new weapons or train with someone or just practice and well this was boredom training and lead to shooting arrows was the best option quite relaxing actually.

aiming at the target than taking a deep breath and letting go of the string the arrow launches through the air and hits straight in the middle bullseye.

 "you're starting to make me look bad, whats that your 50th bullseye?" yea hear someone say from the training room entrance 

"I'm taking that as a compliment" you say turning around to face Kate she hums an agreement back "so the girls were wondering about having a cook-off"

"Sounds like a plan" you say as you shoot another arrow without looking turning to see it had embedded right next to your other arrows.

"so... what are the teams?" you ask matching Kate's attention again 

"Pepper and Maria, Wanda and Yelena, Carol and Nat, me and you" 

"and you chose me because..?" you say smirking at her 

"w-well you know how to c-cook and..your cool?"

"what were you going to say?"

"oh um n-nothing ill see you in the kitchen!" kate says before running off to the kitchen, chucking to yourself at her being shy

after having a quick shower then starting to head to the kitchen you meet up with everyone "y/n finally you're here!" Wanda says "well I wasn't going to cook smelling of sweat" "fair enough" nat speaks up from sitting on the counter "get into your teams then we shall start" "rules?" "cook or bake anything you wish to with your partner then we find out what teams are a good duo" pepper says "ready 3..2...1...go!"

it started off very chaotic grabbing ingredients for what you wanted to cook or bake and because you and kate had decided on a cake having to be patient was key it made it easy for you and kate both being pretty chill at times, there were times when your hands would touch or you'd bump into each other it was nice to spend time together as well as all the girls moments when kate blew some flower in your face and you returning the gesture and by the end, the kitchen smelled amazing all sorts of foods the hawkeye cake you and kate made black and purple was a victoria sponge cake.

you and kate shared a slice she ended up with some whipped cream on her cheek 

"Is there something on my face?" she asked almost a whisper 

"yes there is let me get it for you" you say leaning forward and kissing the whipped cream off of her face leaving her cheeks a crimson red you get up walking over to nat and Wanda, I believe you owe me $10" they both let out a huff as you take the money and walk back over to kate "what was that about?" kate says her cheeks still tinted red "they bet that I wouldn't make a move on you" you say with a shrug.
