she woke up early in the morning arms moving from around your waist as she places a kiss on your head getting up and changed into a suit for yet another meeting she let out a huff "do you have to go?" you say in a groggy morning voice "im sorry sweetheart you know I have to go" she leans down to kiss you on the lips as you part "my king" you say to her in a jokey tone "my queen" she says with a smirk "love you!" she shouted as she walked through the house to the front door "Love you too" you hear her hum of laughter echo off the walls.

you got up not too long after Val left made some breakfast then headed off to the stables to look after the animals and look for Kai cleaning u the stables was not too fun but it felt good after to know that it was clean well for the moment a bird comes swooping down putting your arm out the Thunderbird lands perfectly its gold into grey feathers some gold electric sparking off the end of the feathers "kai where have you been" he squawks at you then lifts his legs up to turn to reveal a note in a small bag on his back

I will be home late as I have got stuck in another meeting please don't stay up I know you need the sleep

you smiled at the end she really was the love of your life no doubt. kai nudged you before flying on top of the stables waiting for you "want to go for a walk or a fly? well you know what I mean" you say as kai flew over to you and landed on your shoulder as you take a stroll to the beach kai looks at you expectedly "what no im not teleporting us there" the bird puts a wing on your head "okay okay" you say before a wave of green magic creates a portal to the beach kai immediately flys into it as you follow behind with your hand in your pockets.

the crashing of the waves made a rhythmic sound as you walked around the crunching of the stones making contact with your shoes with every step you take soon a high pitch barking interrupted your stroll turning to see a little puppy that looked like possibly an Australian Shepard but its bluey-grey eyes were beautiful "hello little one" you sad crouching to there level and stretching an arm out the dog cautiously stepped towards you as you had hovered above her head she nudged it to show you she was okay with you "you are beautiful" a squawk is heard as you finish your sentence looking up at Kai "there's a difference your handsome" he seemed to accept that with another squawk and a nod picking up your new-found puppy "come on let get back home" opening a portal and stepping into it a puppy cradled in your arms and a bird on your shoulder.

as soon as you got home opening the door kai flys in from his shoulder to his perch in the living room that leads to the conservatory closing the door behind you and placing the puppy down "let's get you some food" you say before walking into the kitchen and materializing some dog food and some dog bowls one for food and the other for water.

threw out the day you spent most of it on the sofa on your laptop doing some paperwork for Val that she needed help with while binge-watching moves and series because why not.

a small head soon fell on your crossed legs as you looked down at the puppy picking up your phone from the arm of the sofa you take a picture and place your phone back down getting lost in the mountain of digital paperwork that was on your screen.

it was around 12:30 you perked up at the sound of keys jingling in the lock of the front door as the door opened a grumble was heard as the keys were disregarded to the side she came into view as she walked around the corner "baby I told you not to stay up" she winged with a groggy voice "love its not your fault I was just finishing up some work anyway so I staid up so I wouldn't have to worry about it tomorrow so we can spend the day together" you replied with a shy smile at the end "your adorable" she says walking over to you as you close your laptop as she moves to straddle you almost collapsing onto you she lets out a deep sigh as you just hold her  "wanna go to bed?" "no not at the moment just hold me" she mumbles into the crook of your neck.
