No matter how hard things got or the amount of wrong steps Maya made she could always find a safe spot next to you so when you had moved to her old home to get away from kingpin and his grasp on New York.
You hadn't really worked for the man merely your boss had you do a job for him and that was it but finding out what he does wasn't your way of work but i suppose all bad things have a good like meeting Maya when you went back as your boss had another job that Kingpin wanted done by one of your bosses Agents.
that's when you would get called not by Kingpin but once Maya and yourself had gone on a mission together you both kets in contact you both grew close your friendship eventually blooming into a relationship...
Until Maya changed she became cold to involved in work Kingpin had a strong grasp on the woman you loved it hurt you to see her like this especially after the blip and her fathers death all she thought about was then Kingpin and Ronin no space for anything else although she did come home eat the food you made and then do what she wanted and when you woke in the morning she would be gone already.
So you had to make the hard decision and leave her packing your things no matter how mutch it hurt you needed this because by staying even though you didn't work for Kingpin being close to someone he treats like a daughter you could be easily pulled into his mess.
when she got home later half of everything was gone the bookshelves bare half the cd albums gone your clothes everything yours except the furniture she should have realised when your car was missing on the driveway.

that's how you ended up in Oklahoma the culture and people amazing you met a woman named Bonnie she is lovely reminded you of Maya then you met Biscuits through Bonnie and then their family Chila.
Eventually meeting Skully when visiting his shop for some decoration for your house and finding out he was partners with Chula until her daughter died in an accident, you visited him everytime you passed and had time to go in sometimes even helping him with his shop.
Of course you had got a job working from home but you helped Chula with her mail rounds and that is when you found out she knew ASL and even though yu knew ASL you wanted to make sure to solidify ASL in your head to remember it which lead to afternoons at Chula helping you learn some more ASL and without realising the family had welcomed and loved you keeping them together.
and then their was the last family member you met when you had got bored and saw the rollerblade disco place and there you had met a strange worker and then his boss Henry Lopez that's when you had realised Maya had family here but she never talked about them when you was together but nether the less you got to know the man when letting him copy some music of your cd alums he was grateful and asked if you had any other skills and that's how you ended up fixing his car that had stoped working.

Maya had realised what Kingpin had done and managed to take down Kingpin (At least what she thought she had when she shot him in the eye) a year or two had past since you had broken up yet when Buiscuits had told you his cousin Maya was in town and not to tell anyone else you had asked where she was.
And that's how you ended up outside the old Lopez house and waiting for Maya who has seemed to have popped out by the marks on the mud of motorbike tracks. Leaning against your car maybe you shouldn't have come you thought before getting back in your car and going home.

the next day a knocking on your door had woken you up quickly grabbing your jacket (You stole from Maya when you was together) putting it on to answer the door opening the door it was the last person you expected to see Maya...
"Hey" you signed Maya looked at you for a second taking you in you had changed a bit but your eyes the same soft look on them "Hi...I didn't realise you moved here of all places" Maya signed a "I didn't realise you used to live here and your family is here they are lovely by the way" you signed with a soft smile.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry for not realising how much i relied on you on us and how good we were for each other...I'm sorry i let revenge consume me when i should have talked to you and asked for your help ad comfort" Maya signed and looked at you like you was the only thing she would ever need in life.
"I'm sorry i disappeared on you" You signed showing it wasn't all her fault but you had a part to play in it as well.
"Can I come in?" Maya signed "Of course" You stepped aside allowing Maya inside closing the door behind her she looked around the living room her eyes catching some photos of you both on the wall as well as you and some of her family members and friends of yours but most of them were of you and Maya.
"Did you ever miss me?" Maya asked her hands moving as she looked at you then back at the pictures "All the time" You signed standing next to Maya.
"Could we maybe try again?" Maya signed a hopeful look in her eyes.
"I would want nothing more"
