Yelena Belova the newest avenger closed off the only person she spoke to was Natasha you tried every day to get closer helping her train of she wanted to keep her company in the living area when she didn't want to go on missions or when she was injured you would patch her up or walk fanny for her she never seemed to talk to you though like she did Natasha you could say it hurt but it will be worth the wait.

Awoken by a scream from next-door 'shit Yelena' you say to your self getting up and putting a hoodie on and running to the room next to yours knocking on the door and getting no reply made it worse so you went in as you rushed in the scene in front of you made your heartbreak she was holding her legs up to her chest with her face buried in them "Yelena?" she sobbed and turned away from you so you couldn't see her starting to walk over to the edge of the bed sitting next to her "hey Lena" she looks up from her legs you go to grab her face but she flinches this makes your heartbreak, even more, you go to hold her face again this time she doesn't move away wiping her tears with your thumb "do you want to talk about it?" she shakes her head no "ok how about you meet me outside in five minutes?" she nods slowly "ok ill see you in a second Mi amor" you walk away but not before seeing a blush spread across her face.
making your way across to the garage to your car starting the car and pulling up in front of the entrance you see Yelena patiently waiting for you "get in Lena" she walks around to the passenger side "you can have the aux if you want?" "okay" plugging her phone in she starts playing music but not loud enough so you can still hear each other "why are we in the car?" "well, I find it always relaxing takes me away from reality" "what you said earlier" "what?" "you said 'my love' in Spanish" "oh you understood that" "yea and I wanted to say thanks for looking after me and being there for me"
"ill always be here for you Lena" "y/n?" "hmm?" "I like you too"
the four words made you feel so happy as a goofy smile appeared on your face for the rest of the drive.
when you both got back to the avenger's campus you took her back to her room you go to walk away "can you umm stay?" "sure" you laid down on her bed she laid to the side of you pulling you closer as her arms wrapped around you "sleep now, Mi Amor".
she sleeps sound asleep in your arms where she cant be haunted by her past
