Chapter 2: Gloomy

Juvia's POV:

I run to my room. I couldn't look back at Lyon or my family.

Why? Why me?!?

I slammed my door. I buried my head into my pillow. Tears just kept going down I couldn't stop.

I don't love him!

I DON'T!!!

"Juvia-kun?" Levy whispered.

She slowly opened the door.

I couldn't be mad at her. I sat up and wiped my tears. I didn't want levy to worry.

"J-Juvia's fine. Really." I stuttered.

Levy came over and sat beside me on my bed. She starts to warp her arm around me and hums.

I liked the way levy sounded. It had a sweet tone. I finally started to calm down.

"How is he going to react?" I whispered.

"I don't know. Are you even going to tell him?" Levy asked.

I didn't know what to say. If I said yes then Gray might get angry and her someone. If I don't he will find out and break up with me.

"Juvia isn't sure yet." I muttered.

"Juvia you have too! If not who knows what will happen." Levy protested.

She is right, like always. I hope I can convinced Gray that nothing will happen. He doesn't like to listen much but I still love him.

I hear the door open and look over.

Lyon.

Great. Just who I need right now in my time of sadness and confusion. *sarcasm*

"Lady Juvia, I'm sorry to interrupt. But, I wanted to see if you were ok." Lyon bows.

"Juvia is fine. Thank you, Juvia is just confused." I say.

I lower my head. I couldn't look at him.

"I'm going to leave you two alone." Levy says as she awkwardly scurries out.

Gee, thanks Levy. Your my hero. *More Sarcasm*

Lyon walks closer to my bed. I feel my face turn a faint red.

STOP! Juvia you can't do this!! I mentally slap myself.

Lyon sits next to me.

"Why are you so....gloomy?" Lyon asked.

That word.

Gloomy.

I don't want to get into detail about it.

(That's a story for a different book in the series :3)

"C-Can you not say that word to Juvia?" I hesitated.

"Why it's just a word?" Lyon confused.

"I said DON'T say that word to me!" My voice rises in annoyance.

"Fine. Fine. Sheesh, your such a diva." Lyon rolls his eyes.

How rude!!!

I have to marry THIS guy?!?

"For your info Juvia have a troubled past. Also, a very protective brother so if you lay a finger on Juvia or make Juvia upset. All hell will break lose." I smirked.

Lyon scoots away from me a bit. That's right don't mess with me! I'm very proud of myself for that.

"I'm sorry. Miss Lockser. Also, another reason why I'm here is because your father forgot to mention that me and my family will be staying here until the wedding." Lyon exclaimed.

What?!?! Can this day or my life get any worse!!!

(Juvia....Juvia *facepalm* don't jinx yourself x3)

"O-Ok." I said quietly.

I have to convince me parents to call this off. I guess I have to tell Gray tonight before the news spread.

How am I going to sneak out when guard levels are higher. Also, who knows when Lyon and his family will find out what I do.

"Thanks for the company but, Juvia thinks you should go now....Juvia wants some time alone." I say.

"Ok. Have a good day Lady Juvia. Also, I think it's cute when you speak in third person." Lyon smiles.

He gets up and leaves.

Phew. Now, I have to tell Gray.

Tonight.
