"Morning Chief!", Miranda said walking into his office shutting his door behind her.
"Bailey!"
"Here", she placed a folder on his desk. "I need you to sign these."
"What are they?"
"My resignation letters!"
Webber looked confused as he opened the folder. "Bailey you know I'm not signing these. You are one of my best surgeons."
"Thee best!"
"Which is why I'm not signing them."
"Well some type of disciplinary action needs to be taken against me."
"For what? It's not your fault that you didn't know you operated on your own husband. You couldn't have known Bailey."
"It's not just that Sir. Since me and Ben split or whatever it is that's going on with us, I've been not coming to work as myself. There's been plenty of times that I have been hungover from drinking my pain away. Sleep deprived, severely depressed and whatever else."
"Bailey!"
"I know Sir, which is why I'm firing myself. I wasn't altogether when I was working on Ben and if I had of lost him because of my irresponsible ways I would've died right there with him. Not being able to have children ever again, not having my husband in my life and at home with me and Tuck, me being mad at Ben's kids for no reason, Tuck hating me and me accidently hitting him-......"
"BAILEY!", Webber just couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Listen Sir, I don't deserve to be here and-..."
Webber was looking through his desk for a business card. He handed her the card, "A friend of mine went to this counselor. She's pretty good. They also offer couples therapy. Maybe you and Ben can save yall marriage. You will not be quitting and I'm not firing you, but you are right you will not be back in my O.R. until you are cleared by your therapist and yes this is not an option. Bailey we all have problems we just have to use are resources to help us. You can't care for your patients if you're the one who needs help the most."
Miranda stood up. "I'll check in with you in about a week, now go and spend time with your husband. Fix your marriage Bailey!"
She looked down at the card and then walked towards the door, but stopped to turn around when she heard paper ripping. Webber was ripping up her letter then shredded it. "Resign! Hhhuh....", he said to himself.
Ben was sitting finally sitting up in the bed a little better now, but sit in a lot of pain at times. "TUCK!", Ben yelled when he saw him walk passed his room.
Tuck stopped and turned around. "BEN!", he ran into the room hugging him. "Ouch! I missed you too", Ben said holding his abdomen.
"Oh I'm sorry, what happened? Why are you a patient? Where have you been? Mom isn't okay at all. She's been a complete mess, she slapped me and there's some kid who's living with us."
"She's doing...did what? She hit you? What kid Tuck?"
"Yes, because I told her she was lying to me about where you've been because I needed you for something and you weren't around and I told her it was her fault and that dad was right about her and that's why you left us. Oh and that I catch her drinking more wine than she gets sleep. So she smacked me. And some kid that she treated a few days ago, when she found out he was homeless and being discharged to the streets she offered him the guest room and some of your clothes. I mean I always wanted a sibling, but I kind of wanted to be the older one."
