A week later and Aiden still hadn't had any changes and the doctors were starting to worry rather or not if he'll ever wake up.

Miranda was wearing herself thin between being there for Ben, his kids, her son and the boy she took into her home. It was literally draining her trying to be there for everyone. She had to come up with a solution fast before she ended up being a patient next herself.

So she fussed back and forth with Tucker so Tuck could stay with him for some time, she got Joey hired as a patient transporter so he could be occupied during the day until she got his schooling together.

When Alexandra showed back up Miranda was in Aiden's room singing to him and rubbing his head. "Excuse you! What the hell are you doing in here?", she said to Miranda.  "My child has a mother and he doesn't need you in here."

Miranda was so exhausted that she didn't even argue with Alexandra she just walked out and went to Ben's room.

But when she got to Ben's room multiple nurses and doctors were in there with him. "What's...what's going on?", Miranda said trying to get in to see him.

"He spiked a fever. He may have an infection....."

Miranda zoned out when she heard infection. She just automatically assumed she did something wrong during surgery and ran out heading straight outside. Once she felt the air hit her face she exhaled breaking down crying.

"Bailey!", Callie said walking outside seeing her from the coffee stand.

"I can't do it. I can't do this anymore. I can't!", she cried struggling to breath.

"Do what?"

"Be there for everyone and hold it all together. I'm tired. I'm so tired. And now Ben has a fever and they think he may have an infection. It's my fault if he gets sicker. It's going to be my fault. I did the surgery."

"Miranda don't do that, you already know that abdominal surgeries are more than likely to get an infection than any other surgery. You know-....."

"No what I know is that I could possibly be the reason my husband has sepsis and his children loses a father and I lose my husband before we ever get back on good terms again", she hysterically cried.

"He's not going to get sepsis because if he does have an infection they are going to treat it right away and there will be no need for all of this of what you're doing."

"If I lose him Callie....."

"You're not going to lose him. He's going to be fine. Think from a doctor's perspective and not a emotional scared loving wife. Listen I want you to go home....."

"I'm not leaving him here alone and something happens without me."

"Nothing is going to happen to him okay. Miranda you can't help him if you're not okay yourself. I need you to go home and take a hot bath or shower, order you something to eat and come back refreshed with a clear mind tonight after you take a nap."

Miranda stared at her annoyed, scared and angry. "Go Miranda. I will update you on the littlest changes okay."

It was so hard for Miranda to go back in the building and get her things and leave. She felt like she was walking out on her husband and it was killing her. She picked up a sandwich and some fruit from the market then headed home to take a hot shower.

Once she got dressed, she ate her food, packed a few things and headed back to the hospital after making sure Joey was good for the night.

"I couldn't stay home knowing he's here like this", Miranda said sad to Callie walking into his room.
