The intensity of my gaze laid heavy on Bellamy's side profile from where he stood across the hallway. His back leaned against the wall next to the the meeting room on the other side, head angled toward the closed door in attempt to eavesdrop on the conversation inside. The door closed behind Abby after she followed several other adults inside and strictly told Clarke to wait outside with pointed looks directed at Bellamy and me.

Bellamy's presence proved to be a large distraction from the serious situations at hand. My eyes were stuck on a loop with the way they would look around the room with anticipation about the meeting before they darted back to Bellamy's figure. His arms were crossed over his chest.

Our reunion left me confused by my own thoughts. We finally found each other after several days with no communication. All of the realizations I had about Bellamy over the course of our separation came back with full force as I watched him across the room. My feelings for him were stronger than I ever planned or imagine. Who would have thought Wren Jordan would have fallen for Bellamy Blake?

He was part of the main reason I left Mount Weather. I knew he was still out there and I wouldn't rest until I found him again— along with the rest of our people. My heart raced every time we locked eyes with each other, unable to properly talk in private with the way we were instantly thrown into the worry of our people still out there.

Finn and Murphy parted ways to find Clarke after they originally went out with Bellamy's search group to bring back the rest of our people from the Grounders. They were unaware Clarke arrived to the camp since they never came back with the others like they should have.

Kane went off to attempt to make peace with the Grounders, which all of us knew was highly unlikely considering he knew nothing about them the way we did.

My thoughts abruptly ceased when I swiveled on my heel to pace back toward the door. I lifted my gaze from the floor and instantly locked eyes with Bellamy at the other end. I sucked in a deep breath at the softness in his eyes and the way the left corner of his lip quirked up in a small smile.

Our eye contact was ripped apart when the door opened and the adults filtered out of the meeting room. Sinclair broke through the group first with his lips pressed into a thin line when he noticed the three of us stood outside in the hallway, anxiously waiting. He nodded once at us before his eyes dropped to the ground on his way out of the fallen Ark.

The rest followed him. Each of them purposely avoided looking at us, even when we stepped out of their way to give them space to walk through. My eyes narrowed on the back of their heads, suspicious by their strong determination to avoid us like they knew something we didn't.

Abby trailed behind them as the final person out of the room. She glimpsed around the hallway at us before her gaze fell upon her daughter in the middle of the walkway after everyone left.

"Well?" Clarke prompted.

Abby looked back at Bellamy and me along the wall once she reached her daughter. I stopped pacing and came to a stop a few inches from Bellamy's side. Our arms folded over our chests in unison.

The change of leadership due to the adults from the Ark arriving to Earth was enough to irritate the three of us. We were seen solely as children in their camp instead of the leaders we rightfully earned at our camp. We knew we weren't allowed to fully decide for ourselves and our people without annoying repercussions from the adults.

Their lack of knowledge about living on Earth was the bare minimum. They didn't know the sacrifices and hell we had been put through when they were the ones that sent us down here in the first place.

"We're going to gather intel on Mount Weather and send out a team for Kane," Abby announced.

"What about Finn and Murphy?" Clarke asked, confused.
