"See, you're starting to like him" Max said, trying to hold back his laugh.
"Shut up Max, that's not true I think he's irritating okay?" I said frustrated.
"Okay okay, calm down," he said.
I took a deep breath, I don't even talk to him so why should I like him??
"Now that you've settled down, little one, shall we go to the motorhome?" Max asked with wide eyes.
"Fine, I still have to put on something else" The sun was already starting to shine.
"Of course, it's always about fashion with you, and that's okay" Max smiled, and I laughed with him.
We said goodbye to the others and walked to the Red Bull motorhome. Once we were inside, I took my laptop out of Max's bag. I still had to finish my assignment, and I really didn't want to miss qualifying. Max had fp3 at first of course, but that was slightly less important.
"Are you going to finish your assignment, little one?" asked Max who walked into my room of the motorhome.
"Yup, I'm almost done" I bent down to plug in my charger.
"Do you need help? I mean I still have an hour" he asked.
"No mate, go do something for your practice" I said as nice as possible.
I want Max to succeed, and for him to do well. And I don't want to get in his way on his path to success.
"Okay, you know where to find me" Max was just about to walk out the door.
"Wait, can you make me some tea please" I looked at him as sweetly as possible, I know what his weaknesses are.
He sighed with a laugh "Okay, but then you really start with your assignment" Max walked out of the room.
Sometimes he acts like he's my father, and knows everything better. He's also 23 and I'm 19, so he knows more, but I'm sensible myself.
I was doing my assignment when Max walked in with the cup of tea he would make for me. He leaned against the doorway and stared at me while I was busy, not realizing he was standing there.
"Oh you're here too" I said
"So you sound happy" Max said sarcastically.
"Sorry, I was completely in my concentration" I half closed my laptop, and made eye contact with Max.
"No problem, here's your tea" Max puts the cup of tea next to my laptop.
"I'll leave you alone for a while" Max closed the door softly.
When I finally finished my assignment, fp3 had just finished. I was sorry I missed it, but now I was done. I opened the F1 app, and saw that Max was first again.
