"The short version please" said Max hanging up his coat.

"Lando is so confusing, he's not clear what exactly he feels for me" I said sighing. 

"Do you actually like him?" asked Max making his way to the living room. 

"No of course not" I said quickly. 

A grin appeared on Max's face. "I don't mind if you feel something for him, if that's what's holding you back" he said.

"It's not, I'm dating James now... so it would be wrong..." 

"The important thing is to be honest with yourself, and honest with the people around you" he said as he grabbed a can of red bull from the fridge.

I nodded, knowing Max was right. But when was I going to be honest with myself.

When do you know when you are honest with yourself? I stared at the ground, thinking. 

"So my question is are you honest with yourself, do you like James and not Lando or is it a lie because you are trying to avoid the truth..." said Max sitting down next to me. 

His words always made an impression, it seems like he has been through so much. His advice is always valuable, and I would never just turn it down. 

"I think I have slight feelings for Lando, but that doesn't take anything away from the fact that I like James too," I said. 

"I knew it, now you just have to figure out who you like more. But I guess you'll have to find that out for yourself" Max gave a wink and stood up. 

I nodded, I didn't want to get feelings for Lando. But deep down I knew I had them longer than I thought.

After breakfast with Max, he went straight to Lando. I stayed home alone, but not for long, because James was coming. He said he was very sorry about what had happened recently, but to be honest I didn't feel he was guilty. In the end, I didn't remember much of that day anyway. 

I was doing my schoolwork on the sofa in the living room when the bell rang. I looked out of the window to catch a glimpse of the person standing there. I sighed deeply when I saw that it was raining hard. But I started to chuckle when I saw James standing outside with a black umbrella in his hand. I jumped up and walked to the front door. I opened the door, and immediately a smile appeared on his face. 

"Come in quickly" I said when I saw that he was cold.

He walked in, and closed his umbrella. "Ah, what nasty weather" said James.

"Yes, but that's to be expected in England" I said with a wink. 

He laughed, and together we walked to the living room.

"So I had a date planned, but in the rain it's not going to happen... that's why I brought a gift and a movie". he said, bringing a wrapped present and a DVD. 

"Ah, you are so sweet" I gave him a hug. 

James started to blush slightly, which made me chuckle. I accepted his beautifully wrapped gift with a smile on my face. I opened it and my eyes twinkled, there was a cute teddy bear inside. It was very soft, with a little heart on its tummy. My pupils quickly enlarged when I saw that it said 'Lila & James'. With a smile on my face, I looked up at James.
