"It was fun" I said with blushing cheeks. He looked up and down, and a smile appeared on Lando's face. Together we walked into the living room. 

Lando pulled a surprised face, and looked around. "I was expecting James to be here too" he said. "Oh she didn't invite him" said Max soberly as he was pouring drinks. 

I looked at Max with an irritated face. 

"Oh okay, but you guys are going back to Monaco tomorrow, right?" asked Lando with open eyes. 

"Yes, what has that got to do with it?" I asked with frowning brows. "Well maybe you'd like to spend the evening with him..." he said softly but a little uncertainly. 

"I'll meet him tomorrow maybe" I said.

He nodded as I looked at him, thinking why he would want to know. "Why the curiosity?" I asked modestly. "Nothing, just a question" he said as he walked past me. 

Lando walked over to Max and together they started talking, while I was on my phone chatting with James. He said that unfortunately he could not come tomorrow, but he would go to Imola with me if Max agreed. 

I looked up from my phone and looked at Max and Lando who were talking. "Max, do you mind if James comes along to Imola?" I asked as sweetly as possible. Lando's gaze was immediately directed at me.

"Um, yeah sure the whole race weekend?" asked Max. "Oh I don't know, coming along to just the race is more fun right?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'll arrange something for him" he said after taking a sip of his Red Bull. I nodded with a smile and immediately appted it to James. He said it was fine and would get in touch with Max. An hour later Lando and Max still hadn't finished talking so I took action. 

"Um guys, are we going to eat or should I take care of it myself?" I said crossing my arms. Their gazes caught mine. 

"If you want an extremely healthy soup, you'll have to wait" said Lando with a grin. 

"What do you mean by soup? You haven't told me anything about it."

"Well, we are drivers and have to eat healthy so you can order something else" said Max.

"Fine, but you should have said that earlier because I am starving" I said rubbing over my belly. "All that patience for nothing" I muttered. Max and Lando started laughing, which I couldn't stand. 

I went straight to the order app, and ordered a nice salad with a smoothie.

Two weeks later I was sitting with Max in his black Honda car, on my way to the circuit in Italy. The time flew by, but I hadn't done much. I must admit that it was strange not to see James for a little less than two weeks, but we face timed each other whenever we could. Back in Monaco, Max was very focused on training for the upcoming weekend. 

His days were actually very simple and well planned. Every day he trained with his trainer except Sunday, he kept to the meals he had to eat to stay in good shape. When he had nothing to do he usually went into his simulator, racing. It is always racing with him, but that is why I like him so much.

Max parked his Honda car which he used to drive to the circuit, and looked at me with a smile. I knew he was hungry for another win, and wanted nothing more than to get back into his Red Bull. 

"Okay, we're here," Max said, unscrewing the car key. I nodded and grabbed my purse and got out. We both had a pass to get into the paddock.

It was colder than I thought, so I soon wrapped my white jacket around me. I caught a person with a huge smile on his face, and without any doubt I knew it was Daniel. He soon saw me and Max too, and stared waving. 

"Hey, what's up?" asked Daniel who walked towards us. I looked at Max knowing he would respond. "Yeah, were good man how was your short break?" said Max. 

"Good, I noticed you were hanging out with Lando a lot?" said Daniel as we walked around the paddock. "Yeah Max especially" I said. 

"Then what have you been doing all this time" Daniel asked.

"Oh, well some people came by" I said shortly. 

Daniel nodded, and we all stopped at once as we stood in front of the Red Bull motorhome. We said goodbye to Daniel, who also went to his team. "Do you have any plans?" asked Max looking at me. 

"N-no, why then?" I asked. 

"Well, I have some meeting with my team so I'm busy" said Max scratching behind his head. I knew I could expect this, after all it's not the very first time I've been along. I had brought my laptop so I could finish my schoolwork and watch some Netflix. Maybe I would also meet up with Charlotte, and then I could maybe do something with her. 

"Don't worry, I don't have any plans but I am prepared" I said with a smile. Max nodded and raised his thumb as he made his way to the meeting room. I turned around as quickly as Max disappeared. 

I thought it would be nice to hang out with Charlotte again, so I grabbed my phone and called her. She didn't pick up, but she texted me "I'll be at the Ferrari motorhome in 15 minutes, are you coming?" I had to chuckle, she knew what I wanted. 

I put my phone in my coat pocket, and walked to the Ferrari motorhome which was next to the McLaren motorhome. At that moment Daniel and Lando both came down the stairs. "Howdy, what are you doing here" said Daniel in his Australian accent. 

"I'm waiting for someone" I said with a small smile. 

There was a short silence, when Lando spoke up. "Are you waiting for James" he said. I rolled my eyes, why when I was with him it was always about my boyfriend. 

"No, he's coming on Sunday" I said quickly. "Wait did I miss something?" said Daniel with full confusion. 

"Yes, this young lady here is taking a relationship with a guy she barely knows" said Lando soberly. 

"I know him better than you do" I said irritated. 

"You are his girlfriend it would be crazy if I knew him better then you, but do what you want Lila but don't say I didn't warn you" said Lando who walked away after saying that. 

I stood with my mouth open, this is the third time he has said this. Does he know something I don't?
