My Alpha Mate

Chapter 1

My name is Jade Bass and this is my story. I am a white werewolf that lives among humans. I have blue eyes and chestnut brown hair.

My parents were killed during a rogue attack when I was 6. One of our pack members took me and started to run when they were attacked by a rogue.

I was able to get away as my pack was being slaughtered. A nice foster family took me in and raised me. I moved out when I was 17.

Present Day

Beep Beep Beep.

I woke up to the most annoying sound ever.

My alarm clock.

I turned it off and did a big cat stretch. I quickly got out of bed and took a quick shower. After my shower, I blew dry my hair and put on a large purple t-shirt and dark wash jeans.

I put some eyeliner and mascara on before grabbing my phone. I heard a honk outside my door and a grin took over my face.

My boyfriend, Kyle, picks me up and drops me off at my apartment for school.

I grabbed my book bag and headed to the door. I opened the door and locked it before walking to Kyles car.

"Hey Ky." I said as I opened the door.

"Hey beautiful." Kyle said before pecking my lips.

5th period.

Ugh! This day was going by so slow. I just wanted to get out of here, as usual. I took my seat in 5th period and searched the room. I saw the cheerful face of my best friend, Layla, enter the classroom. Layla's a human who I have not told about werewolves.

She quickly sat next to me with a huge grin.

"Hey giiiirl." She said with a fake southern twang.

"Hey." I replied resting my head in between my hands.

"Oh you sound happy to see me." She said, sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm just really tired. I stayed up practically all night thinking and looking up we-" I corrected my self,"research."

A big yawn escaped my mouth.

"What were you researching?" She asked studying her pink manicured nails.

"Stuff." I shrugged.

I was really searching up werewolves (which came up as myths), my original pack, Crescent Moon Pack, rogues. So that's stuff right? It's research, so basically I didn't lie.

"Well I'm sorry you didn't get enough sleep but you shouldn't have stayed up all night." She said gently laying her hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah. I know." I said.

"Alright class. Lets get started." Mr. Giuvani said, standing up from his chair.

"You ready babe?" Kyle asked as I handed him my book bag.

Kyle and I have been dating for 3 1/2 years. I love him.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I mumbles.

I am ready to get away from this hellhole.

I sat in the passenger seat as Kyle slipped into the driver seat. Kyle started the car and took my hand in his. He brought my hand up to his lips and placed a kiss on it.

Kyle drove out of the school parking lot while holding my hand.

We drove about 10 minutes and one of my favorite songs came on.

"It's just another night, and I'm staring at the moon. I saw a shooting star and thought of you." I sang.

Kyle started singing of key,"I sang a lullaby, by the waterside and knew, if you were here I'd sing to you."

I started laughing and Kyle looked at me.

"What's so funny?" He chuckled.

"Never take up singing as a career." I said giggling.

We pulled up to my apartment and Kyle parked the car.

He pulled me into his lap and chuckled,"Come on. I wasn't that bad."

I smiled,"Whatever."

I put my lips on his and we sat there making out for a minute or so.

We pulled away to catch our breath and I whispered in his ear,"See you tomorrow Ky."

He grinned and pulled me in for a quick kiss.

I got off his lap and grabbed my backpack.

I got out of the car and walked up to my apartment. I put my key in the lock and opened the door. I looked back at Kyles car and waved him off. When his car was out of sight, I walked into my apartment and locked the door.

Life is perfect.
