Slowly, I opened my eyes, blinking away the sleep. I yawned and tried to sit up. I felt two arms tighten around my waist and I rolled my eyes. I turned my head to look at a snoring Lucas. he looked so adorable and peaceful.

A smile fell on my lips as I looked at Lucas. I turned around and realized I had to use the bathroom.

"Lucas." I said, stretching.

I waited a few minutes and there was no reply.

"Lucas." I said louder.

He stirred but didn't wake up.

"Lucas!" I screamed, causing him to jump awake.

"What? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asked, looking around the room for any signs of danger.

"I'm fine." I sighed, "I just needed to use the bathroom."

I jumped off the bed and ran to the bathroom. I heard Lucas groan before I shut the door, locking it. A smile formed on my lips. I quickly did my business and fixed my hair. I brushed my teeth before exiting the bathroom.

Lucas was still laying in bed when I walked out. I sighed and walked into the closet. I pulled on a plain white shirt and some yoga pants.

Walking out of the closet I rolled my eyes at Lucas. He was still laying in bed, face down.

I quietly walked over to Lucas and stood at the foot of the bed. I smirked- even though he couldn't see it- and jumped on him. He groaned as I bounced up and down.

"Jade." Lucas groaned.

I giggled and rolled next to him. He slowly turned on his back and groaned in pain as he fully turned.

"Jade." Lucas sighed.

"Yes?" I asked, grinning.

He turned his head to look at me.

"Why did you do that?" He asked, a small smile tugging his lips.

"Well, I figured since you're awake, it was time to wake up. It is," I turned my head to look at the clock. "9:30."

Lucas groaned before smiling at me.

"I love you Jade." Lucas said, grabbing my hand.

I stared at him for a few minutes.

"It's okay." he brought my hand to his lips and kissed the back of it. "You don't have to say it back."

"Um." Was my brilliant reply.

Lucas chuckled at my reply. He kissed the top of my head and sat up on the bed. He walked into the bathroom and shit the door. A few minutes later, I heard the water running. I sighed and leaned my back against the headboard.

I sat there for a few minutes, thinking about what Lucas said. He loved me? Did I love him?

I sighed and got off the bed. I walked out of the room and wandered down the hall. I looked at the pictures on the walls and counted the doors. People walking through the hall would bow there heads and say,"Luna." I would then correct them telling them to call me Jade.

I walked to a specific door and knocked. The same, attractive, dark brown haired man I met answered the door.

"Hello Luna. What are you doing here?" Evan asked, leaning against the door frame.

"Is Layla here?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.

"No. I believe she is downstairs."

I nodded and said a quick "thank you" before walking towards the stairs. I stood at the top of the steps when I saw, Caiden walking up the stairs with a female next to him. She had strawberry red hair and dark green eyes. They walked up the stairs and stopped a few steps in front of.

"Hello Luna." Caiden said bowing his head.

The lady next to him smiled and bowed, whispering a quick,"Luna."

"Hello Caiden. Who is this beautiful lady next to you?" I asked with a small smile.

The female next to him smiled, blushed and looked down at her feet. Caiden looked at her with so much adoration.

"This is Tara Weller, my mate." Caiden said proudly.

I grinned at the two people in front of me.

"It's nice meeting you Tara!" I grinned, holding out my hand.

"It's nice meeting you to Luna." She said shyly, before taking my hand and shaking it.

"Please, call me Jade."

Tara and Caiden smiled at me.

"Well it was a pleasure meeting you Tara! I'll see you two around?" I asked.

They both nodded before walking past me. I walked down the stairs and as I was about to walk into the kitchen, I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist. Tingles erupted throughout my body, telling me Lucas was behind me.

"I was looking for you." he whispered in my ear.

I turned around in his arms so now I was facing him.

"Well, now you found me." I smirked.

His hair was damp from the shower and he was wearing a black shirt and some dark wash jeans. He looked incredible.

"I have to go do pack stuff so will you find something to do? You can get to know some of the pack members." Lucas suggested, staring into my eyes.

"Okay. I was just about to go into the kitchen to talk to Layla when you stopped me." I smiled.

"Alright. I'll see you in a little." Lucas said kissing my forehead and walking off.

I stood there for a few more seconds, watching him before he disappeared behind a corner. I sighed and turned on my heel to walk into the kitchen. I walked into the kitchen to see Layla eating a salad.

"Hey Lay." I said, catching her attention.

I walked to the fridge and grabbed a water before taking a seat in front of her.

"Hey Jade." Layla said, smiling.

I took a big sip of my water.

"Are you ready for your date tonight?" I asked, wiggling my eyebrows.

Layla laughs and says,"Yes. I'm a little nervous though."

I smiled and placed my hand on her shoulder,"Don't worry. I'm sure it will be amazing."

"Oh, I know it will be amazing!" Layla said, grinning.

We both started laughing. When we stopped laughing, Layla was the first to talk.

"So how are you, J?" Layla said, taking a bite of her salad.

"I'm good. How are you?" I asked leaning my face on my elbow.

She grinned,"Great. I really like it here!"

"I'm glad!" I smiled.

She smiled before finishing off her salad. She got up and washed her bowl, putting it in the dish washer.

"Want to head to my room?" Layla
asked leaning against the island.

"I think Evan is in there." I said, remembering he was there when I was looking for Layla.

She thought about giggling and saying,"We can just kick him out."

I looked at the clock on the wall and read the time. 11:12.

Lucas should still be busy for a few more hours.

"Sure." I shrugged.
