Chapter 14

"I'm sorry. But we should get going." Lucas said standing up and stretching.

I looked at the time and gasped. 10 o'clock! When did the time pass by so quickly?

Alice nodded and said,"Yes, we understand Alpha."

Lucas grabbed my hand and pulled me up into his arms. He wrapped his arms around me from behind and rested his chin on top of my head. I saw Theo stiffen but I shrugged it off.

"It was very nice to talk to you again Alice." I got out of Lucas's iron grip and walked over to Alice.

Alice stood up and wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug. I pulled back and smiled at her.

I looked at Theo and grinned,"You too Theodore Alan Woods."

He glared at me as I brought up his full name. I laughed and wrapped my arms around his waist. Theo wrapped his strong arms around me and hugged me back. I heard Lucas growl but I just rolled my eyes at him.

I walked away from Theo and walked back to Lucas.

"I'll see you guys later! It was so nice to talk to you again." I said, smiling and looking between Alice and Theo.

We all said our goodbyes before Lucas and I finally left there house.

"There nice people." Lucas said, grabbing my hand and bringing it to his lips.

I smiled,"Yeah they're wonderful."

I leaned my head on his shoulder as we continued our walk to the pack house. We were through the front door of the pack house in a minute or two and making our way to our bedroom. Most of the pack was in there rooms. Lucas and I finally made it to our bedroom and I quickly walked over to the bed. I didn't realized how tired I was until I landed on the bed.

I shut my eyes and it felt like I was on a soft, comfy cloud. I heard the door shut and then the bed dipped. I didn't open my eyes knowing it was Lucas. I turned on my side and felt Lucas's arms circle around my waist.

I sighed and snuggled into his chest. He kissed my forehead and the last thing I heard him whisper was,"I love you," before I drifted off into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.

I woke up to Lucas gone. I looked at the clock and gasped. I slept 'til 1:15. I quickly got out of bed and walked to the closet. I threw on a dark blue tank top and denim booty shorts. I walked to the bathroom and frowned at my appearance.

My hair was sticking up everywhere, my make from the day before was smeared around my eyes, I had bad morning breath and my eyes were a little red.

I brushed all the knots and tangles out of my hair and put my long, light brown hair in a side braid. I washed my face and applied some new make up. I did a simple eyeliner and mascara. I brushed my teeth and now you could barely see the red in my eyes. When I was satisfied with my appearance, I walked out of the bathroom and down the hall.

"Hi Luna!" A little voice called from behind me.

I turned around to see an adorable, sandy blonde haired, blue doe-eyed girl running towards me. Her hair was in pigtails, her blue eyes sparking and she had the cutest little grin on her chubby face. She could be no older than 6.

I crouched down and she ran into my arms. I picked her up and laughed at her squeal.

"Hi there little one! I'm Jade, whats your name?" I asked the little girl in my arms.

"Joanna." She said with a smile.

I smiled back and talked to Joanna as I walked us down the stairs. I walked into the kitchen and a woman older than me-maybe 27 or 28- walked up to me.

"Joanna. Are you being bad for the Luna?" The lady asked Joanna.

Joanna shook her head frantically,"No mommy!"

The lady in front of me laughed and took little Joanna from my arms. She turned around to the man -around her age- she was talking to before I walked in with Joanna.

"Max can you take Jo?" She asked the man.

The man- Max- had sandy blonde hair like Joanna. He had hazel eyes and a strong build. He walked up to us and placed and cheek on the woman's cheek. He took Joanna from the lady's hold and carried her away. The lady turned back to me.

She had fiery red hair with big blue doe-eyes with freckles all around her oval face.

"Hello Luna." She bowed before sticking her hand for me to shake,"I'm Scarlet. That very attractive, sexy god that just left is my husband, Max. And of course our daughter Joanna." She had a full red lipped smile on her face.

I shook her hand and smiled back."Please. Just call me Jade."

Joanna was a mix of both her parents. She had Scarlets big blue doe eyes, widows peak and oval face while she had sandy blonde hair and no freckles like Max.

She let out light laugh and nodded. "I hope Joanna didn't cause any trouble for you." She said, biting her lip.

I shook my head and smiled,"Oh no. Joanna was an angel."

"Ok. That's good." Scarlet giggled.

I smiled and looked around her into the living room. No signs of Lucas.

"Oh do you have something you have to do?" She asked.

I looked at her, then looked away blushing. I nodded and heard her giggle.

"Alright! See you around!" And with that, she was off to find her mate and kid.

I walked into the living room at the same time Theo was walking into the kitchen.

"Theo where's Lucas?" I asked, biting my lip and looking up at him.

"Why, hello to you too!" He said sarcastically and smirked.

"Theo. Where's Lucas?" I sighed out.

Theo rolled his eyes,"He's in his office discussing things with his beta, third in command and other pack members."

I nodded and smiled,"Thank you."

I walked around him and started walking to Lucas's office. When I was outside of the door, I heard voices from inside his office. But there was one word that came out of Lucas's mouth that had me frozen in place.

Rogue.

Hey guys! Sorry if the chapter is crappy and has mistakes. I just finished writing the chapter at 7:38 in the morning and I have not gone to sleep all night. I don't know why I stayed up this late/early but I've been having some trouble going to sleep. Now my brain feels like mush and I'm gonna try to sleep. So once again, sorry if the chapters crappy! I love all of y'all!!!!
