Howdy Y'all!

I want to start this off by stating that I absolutely do NOT own Percy Jackson, Rick Riordan does (obviously but I still need to disclaim this so the story doesn't get taken down) I've seen it happen before and I have written extremely long chapters that I do not want to lose whatsoever. 

Here are a few more things you I advise you to read before we begin!

»» English is not my first language! I apologize for any grammar or spelling mistakes, please don't hesitate to correct me! I immensely appreciate constructive criticism and it can help me improve my skills as a writer in turn making this story better!

»» I'm not a perfect writer, I'm not a prestigious author, I am a teenage girl which is why I hope you won't expect this to be an immaculate story that blows your mind away and leaves you starring at the wall for hours. I'm not on that level yet but it is a motivation for me to keep writing this because as mentioned before it makes my writing skills better!

»» There are mentions of blood and injuries in this book, death as well because this is the pjo universe and I can't even count the amount of characters that I will have to kill off all over again like our Uncle Rick. If you get squeamish around stuff like that or it makes you uncomfortable please feel free to skim over it or not even read it at all, it won't be super gory stuff but just a nice little warning. 

»» This is the first book in what I'm planning to be a series; it will contain all five books from Percy Jackson and the Olympians. A second book will be made later on for Heroes of Olympus and there will be a couple extra chapters of fluff because I love fluff and Percy is just so perfect and amazing. I'm still deciding on including a few scenes from Trials of Apollo so we'll cross that bridge when we get there. 

»» I make a lot of Taylor Swift references because yes I am basic and worship her, sue me. I put a Taylor swift lyric here and there so if you can find one, comment about it. I have a very big Taylor swift obsession and if you hadn't noticed you will in the soundtrack which I desperately need to update because I made it a year ago and have added a lot of new music to the playlist but not the soundtrack list itself (you'll understand in the soundtrack chapter which is the one after this one)

»» I originally had Apollo be a super involved and caring father because of reasons you'll soon discover however I've had really awesome ideas that I want to implement since then so that narrative might undergo some changes (sorry not sorry)

»» Many Percy stories have Annabeth becoming the enemy and competition and in general acting like a bitch which I will personally not tolerate nor do. Annabeth is incredible and I love her and I will not have her and you be rivals--- just no, absolutely not. And let's be honest if Annabeth wasn't around they all would have died the second they stepped a foot out of camp. Anyhow, she will be a lesbian! Because I have someone very specific in mind to be her girlfriend and I can't shake it off because of how cute and perfect they're going to be together. 

»» Please be kind in the comments! There is no need to bring any type of hostility onto a Percy Jackson fan fiction (like come on if you do that you're so immature and silly). I still feel the need to address stuff like this because you never know (some people on the internet are weird y'all)

»» You, Y/n, will have some powers that a child of Apollo would have and few others sprinkled in here and there (don't worry you won't be a super overpowered bitch who is full of herself, I know better than that and it's also kind of cringe which I refuse to make this story) I say stuff like this when there probably is already some cringe ass shit written in a few of the early chapters because I wrote it halfway through 2022 and I was so embarrassing back then... anyways! You'll find out about your powers by reading! 

»» I'm leaning towards a slight enemies to lovers + slow burn trope. I live for these they're my favorite ever. Expect there to be many moments based on Damon and Elena from The Vampire Diaries (I'm rewatching and the obsession is resurfacing, please don't hate me for this)

»» There will be swearing after the Lighting Thief or maybe after the Sea of Monsters I don't know! When did you guys start swearing? I feel like it's normal for 13 years olds to start swearing right?
