*Jimin's pov*

"Did we really have to tie her to a chair?" Jin asks "taking precautions... we don't know when or how long it'll take until she turns" hobi says as I pace back and forth "so what? We're just gonna sit here and stare at her until it happens?" Kora asks

"what else can we do?" Hobi asks "not this, I can't.." I say "you don't have to watch.." Yoongi says and I look at elena "She looks so drained" bella says and Taehyung pulls her into his arms

I kneel beside elena and take her hand in mine as tears make their way down my face "this is horrible timing and im not entirely sure you can even hear me or if you're still in there somewhere but I love you.. i'm so in love with you and I should've told you sooner, but I was scared.. I was afraid that you'd distance yourself from me because of it, so I stayed quiet and kept my feelings to myself. but this is the last chance I'll ever get and I need you to know how I feel. I'm sorry.." I say and look down

"Guys. She's waking up." Namjoon says and my head jolts up "what happened?" She asks "you got bit.." hobi says "I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that that's why I'm tied to a chair." she says and looks at me "I'd wipe your tears away but I can't at the moment." She says "Elena why are you acting like this?" Kora asks

"Kora-" Jin starts but she cuts him off "No Jin. This is bullshit." She says and looks at elena "I'm not sure if you've noticed but you got bit. You're gonna die, yet you're sitting here acting like it's fucking nothing. You do realize that we're gonna lose you right?" Kora says and elena sighs

"I know that kora. But what exactly would you like me to do about it? I can't go back and avoid getting bit. I chose this. It was my decision so just bear with me." She says and my eyes widen "what do you mean 'your decision'?" Jin asks "It's nothing." She says "It's my fault." Jeongguk says and we all look over at him "What are you talking about?" Hobi asks

"We were ambushed. They made us think they weren't there. They're getting smarter, faster, and harder to kill. One of them came out of nowhere and was about to get me but elena saw and threw me out of the way. Once I regained my balance I shot it before it could eat her. It was hard to escape but we made it out. We thought everything was fine until elena said her shoulder hurt..that's when I saw it, she looked so scared and I kept telling her that it was fine and that she was gonna be okay, and then she went unconscious.." He says through tears and I close my eyes

"It's not your fault jeongguk." Elena says "No it is. Now I need to find a way to fix this." He says and Jin sighs "jeongguk you can't fix this. No one knows how." He says and I look at her "Did you hear anything before you woke up?' I whisper and she looks at me "Mm not that I recall" she whispers and I nod as I stand up and she looks forward "I love you too" she says and my eyes widen

*Hobi's pov*

"It just doesn't make sense.." I say "what doesn't make sense?" Namjoon asks "why she hasn't turned yet, jeongguk you said she got bit and then you guys sped all the way back here correct?" I ask and jeongguk nods "Maybe it's just taking longer than usual. The z's are mutating and maybe so are their bites" namjoon says "Maybe. We'll just have to wait it out." Jin says

"What are we gonna do in the meantime?" Taehyung asks "You guys wanna play a board game?" Elena asks and we all glare at her "what? Just throwing out options here" she says and I facepalm "are you not scared? Or worried at all?" Namjoon asks

"of course I am. But what's the use in crying about it? I know what happened, we all do. I can't change it so I'm dealing with it." She says "Maybe we can figure something out before she fully changes but right now I'm assuming the disease is eating her brain from the inside out, so that means the longer we take the less time we have until she's gone" yoongi says "well that's comforting. also I'm starving" She says and jin's eyes widen and she laughs "shit sorry not like that." She says

"I hate you" kora says "I love you too buddy" Elena says "also, uh, Jimin, now would be a good time to redo that whole speech while me and yoongi figure out some stuff" i say and elena smirks, looking up to jimin "what whole speech jimin?" She asks and jimin shifts uncomfortably in his spot "jimin. no time for backing out" Bella says "well funny you said something. She heard everything" he says

"Oh. Well, that's great." I say "So where do you guys stand now?" Jin asks "Well, unless he wants to date a full blown zombie I have no clue" elena says "I'd be fine with that" Jimin says "I don't wanna do that to you..you deserve better, i just really wish you would've told me sooner." She says "I know, and I should've." he says "at least I know now and that's really all that matters..but I think we all know what needs to happen now. Jeongguk you have my gun." She says and my eyes widen "Elena we can't kill you" kora says

"Well suck it up because it's what one of you is gonna have to do." She says "We can figure out something else, we can find something or someone to save you." Jin says "We don't have time for that. I'm gonna turn, okay? It's inevitable. We can't dodge and weave our way around it. Please guys. I don't wanna turn into one of them." She says and jeongguk pulls out her gun

"Jeongguk. What are you doing?" Bella asks and he holds the gun up towards elena "Jeongguk put the gun down. Now" Jimin says "Do it." Elena says and we all still as he narrows his eyes at her

"No." He says and unloads the gun and the clip falls to the ground "is this really what you wanna see before you die?" He asks and she sighs "does it matter?" She asks "yes elena. Of course it fucking matters. You're not gonna be the one to have to clean your blood off the ground. you're not the one who's gonna have to live with the image of this replaying in your head everyday. So yes, it does matter. Either we figure out a way to save you or I'm letting you leave. But I will not kill you. I refuse to" he says
