✿ Background ✿

Raised on mortal grounds Diana was taught in her own four walls by her father. Raised to never tell anyone about her true form. Not even her own friends knows about it. 

While it speaks for a lot of self-discipline Diana also feels pressured, she hates to lie to her friends faces and desires to be freed of her burden.

Diana's mother died when Diana was a toddler, killed by another coven as her witch tribe got into conflict based on territory. While keeping the sacred soil that her coven draws their magical strength from, it is questionable whether the sacrifice for this was worth it. Aspiring to be like her mother Diana values her status as a witch more than she values her status as a human. She loves being a witch and lives that live with a passion, motivation and patience. Although she values connections such as friendships.

During her teenage years Diana encountered a hostile coven member and the fight ended with the coven member dead and Diana cursed. This curse causes Diana to slowly change into a snake the more magic she uses. Devastated Diana seeked the help of many first-class mages and magicians and received the same answer, a curse like this cannot be broken. In order to hide her curse, Diana rips out the scales and her sister, Allison heals her scars. An incredibly painful process that would often end with Diana being weak for days, tired and barely capable of doing physical activities. Because she had done this over the course of years Diana has grown a high pain tolerance. The scars have faded to light discoloration of her skin which are visible on her legs and back. When angered her eyes turn to that of a snake and Diana would sometimes experience a split tongue.

Due to her hiding her curse, and often missing Coven meetings it caused a lot of rumours if Dianas faith was still with them , if her loyalty was still placed with them.

This would lead to her exile from the coven and Diana running away. Her pride and fear would not allow her to tell the people she loved most about her curse. Successfully hiding for almost a year Diana would be discovered by Asra and Asena. Plucking the scales from her own skin, but with no one to heal it Diana's skin was scarred over and had open wounds left. Upon her discovery Diana saw no choice but to come clean. Everyone was mortified about Diana's self-sacrifice; she had feared no one would love her after coming to terms that she would one day be turned into a snake. It cracked her confidence, caused her to be vulnerable.

✿ Abilities ✿

A powerful and almighty witch Diana is nothing short of capable. Spells, runes and potions are something that comes naturally to her, she can sense magic and control the flows of her own energy and magic. 

With a spiritual connection that is later severed through the exile of her coven, Diana is able to independently use magic and doesn't need to bind her magical capabilities to an object and soil. As long as it flows around her, she can take and use it for her bidding.
