✿ Background ✿

Jaehyun never met his father, he was raised by his mother who had no knowledge about magic nor did she belong to a coven. It was rumoured that Jaehyuns father had been the one with magic in his DNA which caused Jaehyun to develop such abilities. His mother never named his father, and took that secret to her grave.
Jaes mother tried everything to teach him, and got acquainted with other witches that could teach Jae. Because Jaes mother was a human, many thought that she tried to abuse Jaes abilities and tried to find teachers for her son for selfish reasons.
It caused Jaes mother to have many enemies that were after her, trying to take Jae away.
Bastille Archer had taken Jae and his mother in, although the two of them were only two years apart, Bastille taught Jae the basics, sensing a great power and potential in him.

When Jaes beloved mother died in a freak accident, everything changed.
The soft, kind boy that was so eager to do good in the world died that day. Instead a vengeful, spiteful and evil man had been born, dead set on avenging his mother's death and killing everything and everyone in his path.
It caused him to be banished from Archers Coven as Jae was caught practicing black magic. Feeling abandoned and betrayed, Jae swore to get back at Bastille one day.

Jaehyun has gathered information about his mother's past, stumbling upon information about his father that seemed to be involved in his mother's death.
Jae is desperate to find out why his mother had to die and who his father truly is.

✿ Abilities ✿

Jae is able to perform a variety of spells and curses. His best spell is that of replication. Creating copies of an existing item, person or creature allows him to cast some kind of illusion to the opponent.

As a caster of black magic, Jae can draw magic from anywhere. It makes him a rare independent magician who doesn't need a coven to be tied to magic. Jae uses his black magic abilities for tortures, casting spells that inflict pain, suffering and cause damage.
Although black magic comes with a price, when using too much Jae suffers from nosebleeds and internal organ failure, in rare cases severe headaches and blood running from his eyes as his eyes get filled with it.

Another rare ability of his that probably came from his father's bloodline is that Jae is a Summoner. Through the use of otherworld language Jaehyun is able to summon animals at his will, in most cases bugs that will consume on his victims in order to leave no traces behind.
