The day started out like every other, boring and at a slow start.
Percy, was kicking rocks along side the cabins that formed a giant "U" he was on his was to the dining hall until heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Sup, Sea weed"
Without a doubt in his mind Percy already knew who it was, he turned around to see her, the jet black hair and the same leather jacket he had known and loved.
"Oh, I see the princess has gotten comfortable with her visit I see?" He says jokingly
"Shut up!" She punches him in the arms softly "So where you heading?"
"Dining hall, you wanna come?"
"Sure I don't see why not" She says with a small grin on her face.
As they walk along the trail, Thalia started to tell Percy about her experiences with the hunt. Percy wished the trail would never end.
"That's amazing!" Percy exclaimed
"Yeah, they're not as great as beating a Titan or something else extremely deadly, but they're cool"
"So I heard that the hunt doesn't except guys, doesn't that mean you can't talk to them or what?"
"No, no, we can talk to them. We just can't have any personal relationship with them"
"Are you thinking of ever leaving the hunt?"
"Well, actually I have, but it's a bit more complicated then that"
"How?"
"If I leave then I lose my ability to live forever, which isn't a problem. The problem is that I would age from what I am now"
"So we would be the same age? If not I would be a little older?"
"Just about"
"Awesome"
"What?"
"Nothing. We're here"
Percy grabs a plate of pancakes and makes sure they're blue, he grabs a cup of orange juice and proceeds to the Poseidon table. Thalia joins him there bringing a plate of waffles, and a small cup of milk.
"So, uhhh when do you plan on leaving them?"
"Right now" Thalia gets up from the table and starts to talk to the hunters across the way. Percy can't hear what they're saying but it involved him because they started to point at him. Thalia starts to walk back to Percy.
"So how'd it go did the-" Thalia kisses him passionately on the lips, Percy tried to pull away but chose not to, for a reason he couldn't explain. He embraced it until she pulled away warmly smiling at him.
