Percy was waiting for the fifth day to see when Thalia was going to wake up, she laid motionless to the point where it scared Percy. Percy waited patiently knowing that it would matter how long it would take, he would wait. He usually ate and napped next to Thalia but on the wood chairs next to the bed, making sure he doesn't touch her, fearing that would ruin the healing process. Percy got to know the different kids who worked in the infirmary and what kind of other non-godlike medicines they used. Percy also disturbingly enough found out that they've had to cut off limbs in the past, and they kept them for "medical purposes". But that didn't stop Percy from messing around with them and poking at them. Although he thought it was weird himself he still did it anyways. He heard a knock at the door and quickly threw a finger into the trash can so no one would notice.
"Hello?" It was Piper.
"Hey what's up?"
"Nothing I was just checking on her, we just got back from Camp Jupiter"
"Cool, she hasn't woken up yet"
"I'm sorry"
"It's not your fault"
Piper set down roses next to her bed and left in a hurry.
Percy sat there still waiting , he looked at Thalia, still motionless. Percy decided that she wasn't gonna wake up in the middle of the night and went back to sleep in the Poseidon cabin for the first time in days, Percy quickly fell asleep to the sweet smell of the blankets fabric softener.
