The Party

The next day Percy received a advertisement on the table next to his bed. It stated how there was going to be an big party at the Aphrodite cabin, but being spectacle Percy ask around to see if anyone else got one and everyone said they did. Percy waited throughout the day wearing just jeans and a blue t-shirt. He started to worried because Thalia wasn't anywhere in sight. He looked around and to his amazement, nothing. As 8:00p.m. came around Percy started to head towards the Aphrodite cabin as did everyone else. When he got there, it was only about ten people but the cabin quickly filled up. A couple of hours passedPercy waited around poking for any of his close friends, until someone slammed into him.
"S-sorry" Percy said.
It was a blonde girl but one thing Percy noticed was her breath, it smelled like hard alcohol, he remembered it from what used to be his step-dad Gabe.
"Watch where your going Jackson!" She yelled.
She was obviously drunk.
"Whatever." Percy moved away from her wondering where and how on earth she got alcohol.
"Hey Percy, come play a game with us!"
A bunch of people were in a circle, smiling and grinning. Percy sat in the circle and joined the game, spin the bottle. Percy became quickly nervous realizing his mistake. "Guys I don't think it would be right to play, what about Thalia? She'd hate me." "Calm down Percy don't worry so much" A girl from the Athena cabin spun the bottle, it was between her and Leo. Leo happily kissed her, but you can tell his guilt afterwards thinking of Calypso. Someone yelled from the back that I should spin the bottle, off of the pressure Percy did. As he spun the bottle he became very guilty about what he did. He needed to worry about it. When he watched the bottle slowly turn I looked up as it stopped. It was someone in a black hoodie, they pulled it off and to Percy's surprise, all the guilt washed away. It was Thalia. She giggled looking at Percy's jaw drop. She leaned forward and kissed him. Percy became red but held it for a while. The people watching the game all smiled and cheered. She pulled away smiling and took Percy's hand, making him stumble out of the cabin. He walked with her along the pathway, completely silent. When they got to the Zeus cabin she pulled him inside and walked around the big statue of her dad. There was a ladder behind it and she led me up it. She opened the trapdoor
at the top and there was a huge roof with a beautiful view of the stars. They sat down and stared at them for what felt like seconds
"Hey" Thalia said with a somewhat serious tone of voice.
"Yeah?"
"If it landed on another girl, would you have still kissed her?"
"No" Percy said without hesitation.
"Good."
Thalia then pulled Percy close and kissed him. After that it put Percy in a daze, he laid down and forgot everything. The last thing he remembered was seeing Thalia's face above his.
