Moving forward

After that kiss it took Percy a week to at least stop thinking about her without getting in a daze. Whenever they talked together percy would get tongue tied and embarrassed.
Percy was sitting on the beach with his eyes closed, he began to think of a way to not mess up the next time he sees Thalia. That was until-
Bonk!
He was hit in the head by a falling beach ball, Percy got up and threw it back. He spun around but slammed into someone and they fell onto one another. Percy took a second to process what just happened and he looked at the face of the person (who he was still on top of) he fell on, it was Thalia.
"Oh!" He turned red.
"What's up?" He said with not much confidence.
"I'm feeling a bit "down"!" She laughed
"Yeah, I can be really clumsy on occasion." He said smiling at her.
There was silence and just smiling between the two.
"So you gonna get off of me?" Thalia said jokingly.
"I don't know, you want me to get off?" Percy said jokingly back.
She flung him off onto his back and she laid on top of his chest.
"Yeah, because I wanna be on top of you."
He put his arms around her and pulled her up so the top of her head was centimeters from his chin. They stayed like that for what felt like hours, until Percy realized it was hours. She fell asleep.
"Well then, I guess you got comfortable."
She snorted softly and quietly but load enough for Percy to hear. He couldn't stop himself from smiling. Percy picked her up and carried her bridal style off the beach, when he was talking people were staring at them as they passed the cabins, but he didn't mind at all. He was passing by the Hephaestus cabin until he heard something that sounded like and arrow being shot. With fast reflexes Percy moved to where he heard the shot, it was coming straight for him. He turned around shielding Thalia. There was a striking pain in the lower left side of his back, he was lucky it didn't hit his spine. He yelped with pain, but stayed quiet not to disturb Thalia. A random Apollo kid from the crowd came forward.
"I-I'm sorry Percy! I wasn't aiming at you!"
"Shhhh!" Percy pointed at Thalia.
The Apollo boy looked stunned at what he was witnessing. Percy got back up and walked inside the Zeus cabin. He knew which bed to set her in because of the pictures of then together on the wall. He set her down and pulled the covers over her. He was looking around and he found some bandages to stop the bleeding, as he was looking at the pictures he was one where it was just him and Thalia. They were fourteen, and it must have been a little after they first met. They were smiling and his arm was around her, Percy could remember when that was because he's had so many in which they were happy together. Percy kissed her forehead and left the cabin, but right as he was leaving the cabin he came face to face with Annabeth.
"Hello" he said warmly
"Hey, you ok? I saw you got hit and.... And i wasn't just going to let you leave without medical attention. I'm not heartless."
"I'm fine" He walked past her without looking back.
