Movie night

With everybody excited about Thalia waking up. They were all in agreement in on a movie night. Everyone was going to be there, Percy, Thalia, Leo, Calypso, Piper, Jason, Frank, Hazel, Nico and Reyna. The only person Percy was fearing may mess up the night, was Annabeth. They were still on fine terms because they had to see each other everyday. He only didn't know Thalia and Annabeth's relationship. They were best friends until she kissed him, but all he knows is that they rarely talk anymore. They had all decided to watch the movie in the Hephaestus cabin. Apparently Leo had been building a secret room with little free time he had. "Welcome to my humble home" Leo said as if he was king here. Only a few showed up early, Jason, Piper, Frank, and Percy.
"How'd you have the time to build this?!" Jason and Frank said in unison.
The room had a double stacked couch built like a leaning bunk bed with support beams in the back, entirely made of polished redwood. Four flat screens on the wall, a fridge build into the wall on the left. On the right wall there were gears turning but not making any noise behind a thin layer of glass keeping a modern but steampunk look. They were all in agreement that there are more secrets in this room but it wasn't the time to discuss. Soon everyone that was invited was there. Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, and Annabeth were on the top. While Percy, Thalia, Leo, and Calypso were on the bottom. There was room for one more, but neither Nico or Reyna wanted the other to be left alone on the floor. Leo pressed a bottom and the carpet in the middle of the room turned into an air mattress for them to lay on. They sat there as the movie started. A few hummed to the opening song of Nightmare before Christmas, being late October it felt appropriate. They watched as the movie went on, several fell asleep in their partners arms but Caylpso was wide awake, it was the first movie she's ever seen. Nico passed out about 30 minutes before it ended with Reyna only minutes behind him. The end song was beginning between Sally and Jack. Thalia gently placed her head on Percy's shoulder. When the movie was over and it went to the DVD players default screen when the disk was ejected someone finally spoke.
"Oh come on, why do you two have to be so cheesy?" Percy didn't need to turn around to to know who it was, Annabeth.
"Why do you care?" Percy said back trying to remain calm.
"Because you cheated on me and everyone looks at me like I did something wrong!"
Everyone sat in silence except for Nico and Reyna who were silently snoring.
"You dumped me for something I had no control over, someone else" Percy explained.
Annabeth pointed at Thalia. You were my friend, but now you seem like nothing but a bitch!"
A look of shock came across everyone's face. Thalia jumped up, Annabeth following. Facing each other Thalia egged her on.
"You wanna go bookworm?"
Thalia kicked up a shield that was off the ground, her shield. Was that there a minute ago? Jason seeing that things were getting tense slowly put his hand in his pocket reaching for his coin. Percy doing the same for his pen. Annabeth leapt forward tackling Thalia. Jason moved fast a lighting jumped up flying across the room using the wind at the last minute to stop him from destroying Leo's tv. He tackled Annabeth into the same part of the couch Percy and Thalia were on. Percy jumped in too putting his sword in front of Thalia blocking her. She looked at him furious then... It slowly faded away into regret and sadness. Annabeth calmed down then started to cry. Wishing nothing in the past six months had happened. Annabeth left soon after with Hazel and Frank. It was 12:46 p.m. But the ones who remained were awake now. Sitting in awkward silence. They began to talk. That's the night Percy learned that conversations past 12 o'clock were deep.
