Gerard's POV

I was walking the halls, keeping my head down, and trying to get to the theater room without being trampled by the masses of teenagers. I looked around, seeing Frank Iero himself before I slipped into the classroom, looking around and sitting in the back chair. We didn't have desks, just chairs, all of them set up like when you "graduate" Pre-K. Excluding the small chairs that could barely fit our little bodies.

I grabbed my sketchbook from my bag, looked around, and started to draw. I was being careful, I didn't like people watching me or seeing any of my drawings. Unless I was in art class, I was very secretive about what I was doing. I blocked out everything around me, but suddenly heard a huge clap near my ear. I shut my sketchbook quickly, looking up to see the teacher nodding his head, going back to the front of the classroom.

"If you want to draw, you should have enrolled yourself in art class, Mr. Way," Mr. Langly said, quirking an eyebrow my way with a little smile. I put my head down and smiled just a little, holding in a laugh. Mr. Langly was my favorite teacher, he knew I was in art, he has for the whole year.

"Now, I know you all know that the Spring Production is coming up, and some of you know the "overused" play we're doing," Mr. Langly declared, overly excited about the production. He got like this about the one in fall as well, but this one was different. He was setting up, grabbing out papers and I wasn't paying attention. Suddenly, I heard him stuttering, looking up.

"No, um- that can't be right... Well, if I wrote it down. Frank Iero and Gerard Way. Lead roles. I don't care which one of you picks the 'girl' role, just go with it."

What?! No way, I don't- I didn't audition for the fucking lead! The worse thing yet, Mr. Langy said it was "Romeo and Juliet" and there was a female role. I looked over to Frank who sat in the front row, smirking as he looked to the front. At that moment, I felt a shiver run down my spine, not letting it show just in case someone was watching me. I looked at the one girl and I knew why I was chosen, to put it as nice as possible, she still had a lot to learn.

"Mr. Way," Mr. Langly sang, making my head pop up to look at his face. "Come grab your script, quickly, please," He spoke, holding it up. I quietly got up, speed walking and grabbing the script from his hand. I knew I probably looked timid, like a little lost rabbit like some could be heard remarking, but I just went back to my seat. I saw Frank looking at me, immediately turning around to Mr. Langly explaining briefly to memorize or get with someone to practice, letting us off on that note.

I got up again, going over to Mr. Langly and tapping his shoulder, his body whipping around to face me. "Um, would it be okay if I practiced in the hall?" I asked, avoiding his gaze a little. I was only nervous because I didn't want to be under Frank's gaze for much longer, getting a small nod. I let out a sigh of relief, grabbing my bag from the back of the classroom and going out of the room. I crossed the corridor and went to the empty room, studying my lines and quietly whispering them to myself.

It wasn't long before the bell rang, which I looked up at since it had startled me. I gathered my things, keeping my script hidden between books since I didn't have enough time to put it in a folder or anything. I ran out of the classroom, going into the bathroom to skip my second class. I wasn't good at math, even though I was in basic math now, I couldn't deal with it today, not after what was pulled in the theater room. Someone came in the bathroom, closing the door, and a few seconds later a zipper. Oh God, great.

I looked down at the shoes of the person, my eyes widening as I recognized them, to be Frank Iero's. I heard trickling water, keeping my mouth shut as it soon shut off, and then I heard a zipper again. I waited a few minutes more, not moving in fear that I'd be noticed.

I heard the starting bell, Frank leaving first before I peered out the door and saw that the halls were clear. I went over and escaped out of the side door, not seeing Frank, so I ran to a tree to sit and study some more.
