Open when you want to listen to some songs that remind me of you :)

Since i'm the most thoughtful person that has ever existed and music is literally my entire life (as you know because I never shut up about my favourite bands or complain about my music class/lessons) I thought that I would share just a coupleee songs with you that make me think of you (and the reasons why they remind me of you). Honestly this list could go on forever but I think i'm just going to add the ones that remind me of you the most, i want this to be something special because you're so special to me. And because i'm so kind, instead of you having to look them all up separately, I made a playlist for you with all of the songs :)

1. Bloom Later - Jesse Rutherford (of course, my favourite other than you duh), &, 2017

-  'Never been a liar, I'm a lilac and you are my sun and every season I need you to come back' Well personally for me, these lyrics specifically mean that obviously every flower (in this case lilac) needs sun in order to grow, I am that flower and you are my sun. My comfort person. You help me grow. 'Every time you shine, you help me define how to remind myself what it's worth' For me, these lyrics mean that every time you're with me specifically when i'm at my lowest, you're still 'shining' and continue to help me define and remind myself what everything in life is worth.

2. Halley's Comet - Billie Eilish, Happier Than Ever, 2021

- 'I've been loved before but right now in this moment, i feel more and more like i was made for you' This means for me that even though i've been loved before, i've never felt the same love that i have with you. No one has made me feel the way that you make me feel, which makes me feel like i was made for you and only you. We go so well together, you're like my other half, every day i feel more and more through everything you do for me that i was undeniably made for you.

3. Soren - beabadoobee, Loveworm, 2019

- This whole song just reminds me of you, but especially 'If there was a place that i had to choose or a memory that fades that i cannot lose. If there was a place that i could call home before i die, you oughta know it'd be in your arms tonight' if i was given the choice to call anywhere on this earth home, it would 100% no questions asked be with you. You feel like home to me. When i'm with you i don't need anyone or anything else, because you're everything that i need. I've made so many memories with you and and i cant wait to make even more with you, i know like literally everyone says that but i mean it with my whole heart. All the memories i've made with you, i don't ever want to lose them.

4. Compass - The Neighbourhood, Hard To Imagine The Neighbourhood Ever Changing, 2018

- I feel like this song is pretty self explanatory, but everything about this song reminds me of you duh that why it's on this list but pretty much the general idea is that i would be lost without you, you help me find my way when i have no idea what i'm doing. When i need a distraction from something, or for someone to listen to me you're always there. You help me try and see the positives even when it feels like every single thing is a negative. 'I'm lucky you've been keeping me around'.

5. Cocoon - Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Balcony, 2014

- The chorus specifically is what reminds me of you the most, ' But fuck it if they talk, Fuck it if they try and get to us 'Cause i'd rather go blind than let you down' I don't care what other people think, or what they have to say about our relationship, i'm sticking with you forever, regardless of others attempts to get between us. You're my other half.

6. Pretty Boy - The Neighbourhood , Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones, 2020

- Well, you are my pretty boy and you know this because i tell you allll the time. But this song reminds me of you because i know that as long as i have you i'm gonna be ok, even when everything else around me is falling apart i know that i'll always have you and i'm completely ok with that because i wouldn't want to do life with anyone else. You truly are my pretty boy though, always and forever :)

7. Die For You - The Weeknd , Starboy, 2015

- ' Its hard for me to communicate the thoughts that i hold' but tonight i'm gonna let you know let me tell the truth' as you know, sometimes it's really hard for me to communicate the feelings and thoughts that i have but with you i feel like i can tell you things, i can be vulnerable with you and even though that is so so scary to me and sometimes i feel guilty for putting all of my stuff on you, you reassure me that it's ok. I'm still working on opening up more obviously but i want to tell you everything, i'm sorry if sometimes i don't tell you whats wrong or if i'm upset, its nothing personal. I've just been told for so long that everything i feel is wrong and that i'm just being dramatic, of course i know you wouldn't say that stuff to me but i'm still scared of that. But mainly this song reminds me of you because i would do anything for you, literally anything. You're worth so much love. Even though we can't be together physically, that doesn't change how i feel about you and the things i would do for you.

8. Mine - The 1975, A Brief  Inquiry Into Online Relationships, 2018

- This song means to me that you don't need to get married in order to have someone be yours 'There comes a time in a young mans life, He should settle down and find himself a wife But i'm just fine 'cause I know that you are mine' and i'm just fine too because i know you are mine :). That reminds me of you because i know that the idea of getting married to someone doesn't really appeal to you, after all it's just a dumb piece of paper and a ring. But i don't know, this song is just so pretty and every pretty song i listen to reminds me of you because you are the prettiest person i have ever met.

9. It's Not Living If Its Not With You - The 1975, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, 2018

- This song has been one of my favourites from the minute that i listened to it, i know i know i say that about most songs but this one ugh just so good. It reminds me of you because it's true, ' All i do is sit and think about you' 'It's not living if its not with you', it reminds me of you also because it was kinda our song for a bit before when we first first started talking, this song just reminds me of 1437 (i love you forever) and how the first time i had posted 1437 on my story it was directed at you, i remember you were so confused as to what the numbers meant but once i told you it became our thing, it was the cutest thing ever. So now whenever i listen to this song, i think of those memories but i wouldn't want it any other way.

10. The Shining - The Neighbourhood, Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones (Deluxe), 2020

- Literally the BEST song on the album, can't believe i actually picked favourites for once since every song by the neighbourhood is my favourite but this song just hits different. I've already shown you the meaning of this song and just how cute i think it is, but the meaning reminds me a lot of us. 'The way that you glow, everybody knows You've got a heart of gold and mine is always broken So i'll just paint it chrome Yeah, I'll just paint it chrome So you're not alone I just wanna shine with you baby'  just like the original meaning, i believe that you have a heart of gold, you deserve someone who is just as loving, pure and kind as you are I don't want you to be 'all alone' in that sense. I'll continue to earn your love, i'm trying to live up to be someone worthy of your love and affection.

11. Yellow - Coldplay, Parachutes, 2000

- Well, i don't know if you remember but one night you asked me what colour reminds me of you and i said yellow. I don't remember telling you why this colour reminds me of you though sooo i'm gonna tell you now. To me, yellow symbolises happiness duh because i'm basic and like everyone thinks that but anyways. You're my yellow because  you make me the happiest person, i know sometimes i don't thank you enough for everything you do for me but i appreciate you more than you will ever know. Yellow reminds me of pretty things like sunflowers and the sun (because you're my yellow and my sun ;) ), you radiate the best vibes, every time i think about you i see yellow. In every yellow thing i see i think about you. It's kind of hard to explain why you're my yellow because it kinda just makes sense that you're a yellow.
