Nick

"Thank you everyone" I smile awkwardly, trying my best to run after Wynter.

"Nick!" Lizabeth calls after me but I ignored her. All I wanted to do was chase after Wynter.

Drew cuts off my path and frowns. "You better fix this!"

"What do you think I'm trying to do!" I snapped, pushing past him but he grabs my shoulders, turning me around. Everyone was still staring at me. A few others were staring at the pics of Wynter and I kissing.

"I didn't know Wynter had it in her"
"Maybe she loves male models"

The few employees that were left on the shoot were already gossiping about our little escapade.

"They're already whispering" I cursed, looking towards the exit.

"I'll fix the mess you caused in here." Drew sighed, lifting his sleeves up to warm his palms. He would use his powers to erase the memories of the last few minutes.

"Her too" I pointed at Elizabeth. I didn't know their details but I could tell Drew harbored some feelings for her. They had been talking more and stayed close during the shoot.

"No. No way! You know how I feel about using my powers on—" Drew cut his words short as Elizabeth runs over.

"I owe you one bro." I patted his back for support. Elizabeth meets us both and stares at the exit.

" Is Wynter okay! Maybe I should go after her" Lizabeth looked worried. I mean, she was her best friend so it was understandable.

"No I got it." I assure her, running to the door.

Wynter

"Wynter!
Wynter!!
Wyn!!"

I hear Nick's footsteps behind me but still run to my car.
I locked the doors before starting the ignition.

"Kgggggrttttttt"

No. No! Not now!
Why now?

My car jolted again. I guess the engine locked from the cold.
Great! Just great!

I hit the knob to turn on my radio, listening for any type of weather warning.

"Hello Sam Francisco! Looks like we got a frizzy slushy of overnight snow! Don't go about trying to drive cause roads are CLOSED!" The radio announcer finishes his announcement before playing a BTS song.

My forehead meets the cold leather of the steering wheel as I tried to think of a way out of here.

Carefully, I push the door handle of my driver's side and drag myself out the car. Nick leaned against the trunk of my car, his arms crossed over his chest.

"Car didn't start?" He sound to calm for my liking...as if he knew this would happen.

"No...but I'm pretty sure you already knew that Santa"

"Wynter Rider. Is that an accusatory tone?" He let's a lazy smirk part his lips.

"It sure is!" I fumed, watching my cold breath as it floated in the air.

"You don't think I had something to do with this?" He frowns. He looked so hurt, betrayed by my assumed guilt.

"The last time it snowed in San Fran in the middle of October was 1947. It's a bit too convenient if you ask me. Almost like magic?"

He held up his hands in fake alarm, staring into my eyes. I had nothing to do with your car not starting.

"Whatever. Can you use your magic to fix it? Grab something out your red sack?" I teased. I knew it wasn't his fault but that didn't mean I couldn't take my anger out on him.

"I could fix it, Or?" He snaps and a dark red sleigh with a reindeer starts approaching.

"Jingles!!" I smile, running over to hug him. He winnies excitedly, licking my face with glee. "I missed you too boy." His nose wasn't red but a warm brown. He looked so cute!
There was another reindeer beside him that I had never met.

"And who is this?"

"Ivy." I pet her ears. She was a pretty little reindeer. I wondered if it was Jingles's new boo.
Nick came beside me and patted her head.

"It's cold and about to snow again. I could take you home?"

I look at Jingles as he presses his head against my cheek.

"Fine, only cause Jingles was so happy to see me."

Nick helped me up, loading my bag and purse into the seat of the sleigh first.

"Careful" he warned. I stepped on the small golden step of the sleigh, grabbing his hand as he helped me up the carriage.

I was almost in but I lost my footing and fell into his arms. Nick caught me just in time.
Slowly, I lifted my chin to meet his eyes.
It was moments like this where I started loosing my mind. His warmth was so addictive, his hold around my waist so secure.

He saw my cheeks turn warm before gently letting me go. I pulled my scarf around my face to hide myself from anymore embarrassment.

The sleigh was comfortable, cozy almost. Although it was cold around us, the warm felt like 90F.
I guess that was part of the magic of the craftsmanship.

I admired the interior of the sled. Dark oak and mahogany were painted throughout its surface. Intricate designs of white and gold scattered across the wood.
It's beautiful exterior matched.

"Like it?"

"I love it" I whispered almost breathlessly.
I loved the details of the little things.
Nick knew I was impressed with things like this so it was no wonder he thought to take me home in one.
He takes the reigns and steers Jingle and Ivy to the main road.
