Zeth POV.
The moment they make eye contact they both stiffen both Hunter and Ella, they have a weaknesses for each other as I said they are both best friends but also partner in crime, yup I have spied her even though we are enemies she is still my fiancé. A smile creeps over Jake's lips "you were damn right Zeth!" He says and pats me a little hard on the back I give a nod in response "let's get him down..." I mumble and walk towards Hunter.
Jake and I loosen his shackles forcing him to his knees, something hard hits me in the head an elbow blood runs down over my lips which continues down my jaw. I turn my gaze to Jake he is struggling to keep him down "guards !?" I shout, a few men rush into the room to help us "hold him down! So Jake can chain him again" I give a few orders as he finally is where we want him I send the guards out.
The blood has stopped running I wipe it away with the back of my hand while I stop in front of Ella "you can stop it tell us what you know and he is allowed to live!" I mumble into her ear, move my head out to look her in the eyes her head smack forward and hammer into my own head the blood start running again "F-fuck!" I moan in pain and slaps her.
Ella's POV.
Fuck! It hurt my head throbbing with pain from the blow with Zeth's head, the slap he gave me did not hurt it did not drown out the throbbing pain I already have. I spit him in the head his eyes are icy cold as if they can freeze me to a lump of ice, Zeth wipe it away with the back of his hand "it's your choice... you get more blood on your hands than you already have!" He snarled. My gaze follows Jake who pulls a small dagger grabs Hunter's T-shirt cuts it up, he lifts his arm lands the whip from earlier in his hand "shall we huh?" Asks he mumbles and winks flirtatiously at me. Every time Jake does that I really need to vomit or at least that feeling like that, I close my eyes hard together following the sound of a whipping blow as well as Hunter grunting in pain.
The tears slowly press on in the corners of my eyes I let myself fall down hanging in the chains my head just hangs the tears flowing down my cheeks. It takes a lot of strength and courage so I can keep my whining down so they can not hear it, the blows are suddenly stopped pain screaming dies out and the silence enters. Steps can be heard I see a pair of shoes in front of me I close my eyes, let myself look like someone who has fainted a hand is put around my jaw and lifts my head up.
A few lips are put over mine, it takes all my strength in just playing dead he bites me hard in the lower lip I tighten the abdominal muscles instead of shrinking in pain shut up it does hurt. I get a light pat on the cheek "she has gone out like a light we may have been a little too harsh on her" says Zeth. It takes a few seconds before it dawns on me that it is Jake who kissed me. For god's sake I will and must kill that idiot, the best comes to the one who waits so I must keep playing dead while they torture Hunter. It hurts so much inside myself to hear the duck whine of pain how they caught him Aiden sent him out to find me, hand voice video was fake.
Time goes by slowly it feels like an eternity, the screams are dying out they have questioned him but he refuses like me. I hear them beat him one blow after another "we have to find another kind of method maybe a little rag on Ella's body will be able to do it because he is in love with her" mumbles Zeth ring ring ring Jake fishes out his iPhone of the pocket of his jeans "I have to take this!" He mumbles and slowly disappears out of the room.
His steps almost resonate in the room "I know you are awake Ella! You're good it's damn hard to trick Jake, but I know you too well to know you're not unconscious... "he mumbles. I lift my head but still let my body hang in the chains so I save the energy I have left "you know me too well I agree with you! Set us free you idiot... let him live take me instead "I pray closer with tears in my eyes.
He starts to smile scornfully "let him live ?! You can not be serious... "he says, my temper is boiling" yes let him live Zeth! Kill me instead of Hunter, "I ask him. A few seconds later, Zeth stands in front of me with his head a few inches from my "you are my fiancé, I let him die in your place!" He mumbles smiling as he walks towards the door "I look forward to later!" He says, closing the door behind him.
