So, it has been 2 days since Melody Jam's final selling day. After a week filled with busy days, we were finally able to rest up, YAYY!! But unfortunately, we weren't able to rest as much because of our part time jobs.
And back to the present, with a simple made breakfast in front of us, we had a small conversation about how well we slept.
Then i took a last check up on Don's outfit for the day, and when everything looks good, i sent him out for college.
I went inside my bedroom and sat on the window spot. The cherry blossoms behind the garden's fence are blooming as well. We'll have to have a small flower viewing picnic soon. Oh! And i think it's almost the time to harvest my rice cake tree.
What is rice cake tree you ask? It's a small tree, about the size of a lemon tree that grows little lumps from their branches. Those lumps could eaten as soon as it's cut. But it's better if you have something sweet as a filling.
The lumps on the tree isn't big enough yet, so we'll have to hang onto the picnic for later.
Right now, i must rest. It has been a long week after all. Especially for Don who had a very hard time to speak to the customers.
Hannah was very helpful around the shop too! I had better come visit her flower shop and give her something as a thank you gift!
Maybe a small box of 6 different types of jam that includes strawberry, blueberry, apricot, citrus, banana cream, and my lovely Love Jam. Oh and maybe i could wrap it with the new lacey ribbon i bought. And maybe some of the flowers from my garden. She always has a bright expression whenever i talked to her about my garden's plants and flowers. Especially with the 'Flower Tree'
Alright then, let's make a mini bouquet and a 6 packed jam box for Hannah!
I start by taking an empty white box and put 6 of her favourite jams inside. She did work here for a week after all, so it's no surprise that i know about it.
After that, i wrapped it with blue wrapping paper and tied it with a lacey ribbon. Then, i went to my garden to grab 2 flowers from the 'Flower Tree'.
I mentioned it to Hannah before, it's a tree that could grow a random flower you think of in an instant.
Now to surprise her! A baby blue Sunrose and a light purple Maghlia.
I headed back inside and wrapped the flowers with paper. I also added some tiny greeneries to make the blue and purple colour pop out more. Then i tie it with the same lacey ribbon and a mini bouquet is born!
I took a picture of the bouquet and saved it in my phone.
Once that's done, i place everything inside the bag along with the jam packed box.
I made sure the flowers are in a safe spot so it won't be ruined by the time i give this to Hannah.
I still have some space left in the bag, so... ehehehe, i'll buy some vanilla cookies from Vylad's cafe. She spoke of it at the last day when Vylad suddenly decided to visit my shop. It was a sight to see them awkwardly interacting with each other.
Oh! And while i'm there for the cookies, i just remembered that tomorrow will be Don's 1st month here! I have to reward him with something nice since he has been working very hard this past week.
I shall giving him my 'Mary's Special SERVICE' by cooking up his number 1 favourite food tomorrow. I should buy him a whole cake too. Of course it will be his favourite flavour, chocolate!
Now then!
I opened my closet and put on a white rose patterned blouse and a long denim skirt that goes down to my ankles. Then i paired them up with red heels and a red beret, and also my round shaped red glasses~
