It's been a week since then, and the air has gotten quiet hot lately. Must mean that summer is already here! No wonder i've been sweating buckets since morning.
Ah! That's right! As a formal welcome for summer, let's have a mini pool break!
It's already 2 pm so i think i can close the shop by now.
I closed the shop's door, after making sure that there are no customers to be seen around. When the coast is clear, i headed to the garden and start pumping in air into my small rubber pool. When it's pumped fully, i began pouring buckets of water into the pool. It's small enough for one person, so it didn't take a long time to fill it.
Then i set a small table beside it and opened a beach umbrella right next to it.
Before i soak in, I made a refreshing drink for myself and prepared a few finger foods that goes along well with it.
And once everything is set, i hurried back upstairs and put on my swimsuit. It's a pink body swimsuit with white frills on the top and the bottom. I've been waiting for this day to wear this, and as i thought, it fits on me quiet well!
I sat in front of my mirror and tied my hair into a ponytail. With my summer hat and pink shades on, i'm finally ready to dive in!
I hurried downstairs and let myself soak into the cool water.
Aah! The heat fatigue is leaving my body~
I stretched my body wide open and feel my nerves and muscle relax even more. I looked up to the sun and start picking on the snacks i prepared. I took a sip of my drink and feel the rush of happiness throughout my body.
NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL RELAXATION!! OHO HO HO HO!
Now that i'm in a clear state of mind, it's a perfect time to start thinking up some brand new ideas for the new jam i'll be selling. I have already put 'Fire Jam' out of the rack since it wasn't selling well, so i have to figure something out to replace it.
I start looking through grandmitch's RecBook while taking a sip of my drink. After a few turned pages, i found a recipe that just might work.
'Jellyfish Jam': for underwater breathing (1 hour)
. . .
There's so many notes! Grandmitch really outdid herself to perfecting this recipe huh? There're even tips and a lot of 'Do this or else..' and 'Don't do this because..' written on the pages..!
It's going to take a while for me to read the directions because of all that, so i'll take look at the ingredients first.
1. 6 jars of White Blueberry jam
2. 3 teaspoons of Fish Dust.
3. 1 string of Sweet Seaweed
4. 2 drops of JellyFlower nectarHmm, i wonder if i can get all of the ingredients?
I'll have to ask Ms. Annette for the flower nectar.
Now, should i make this a limited item...
. . .
(Mary having flashbacks)
Yep yep! Definitedly! Mhmm, it's best if i do! I wouldn't want to get through all that again!
And for the sweet seaweed, i think i'll contact my sea-seller for that. I have some fish dust left but there's just a bit in store, so i think i'll order it along with the seaweed.
Now that i already picked the jam, i'll continue and enjoy my- IT'S GONE?! Where did my snack go- oh right, i finished them. I didn't realize it since i got too engrossed with the RecBook.
But this is the perfect moment! The sun is getting hotter, so I can eat the ice cream i made yesterday now!
It's pretty simple for me to make. I just mashed my cream berries on top of a bowl of ice and mix it with a blender with some sugar and a little bit of milk. I intentionally made it plain because, i plan on adding THISS!!
MY FAVORITE ONE OUT OF ALL THINGS I SELL, CITRUS JAM!!
I opened the jar and took a huge whiff of it.
Aaah~! My favourite scent of all time! Lemon oranges!
I put 5 scoops of ice cream into an ice cream bowl and add a few spoons of the jam on top. Then i put the jam back into the fridge and took my cube-sliced mangoes and place them on my ice cream. A little bit of honey, and for the visuals, tiny specs of edible gold leaf on each scoop.
And before it melts, i quickly took a picture of it and saved it in my phone. I call it, 'My Summer's Delight!'
I soaked back into the pool and start eating my ice cream.
IT'S SO GOOD!! Sour, sweet, and very creamy! As expected of my creamberries!
After i finish eating the ice cream, i went back to the kitchen and returned back to the pool with a popsicle in my mouth.
I brought a note and pen with me so i can start writinf down the list of things i'd like to do this summer.
I would like to try diving again. Oh and maybe find another heart shaped seashell for my collection! Or if i'm lucky, a shell who looks the same as 'Citrus'.
Oh and don't forget about the limited summer menu at Mesias' cafe! Their special ALL-TROPICAL-FRUITS PARFAIT!! Oh and the summer's last sunset!
1. Go diving.
2. Find a heart-shaped sea-shell (this time, a pure white one).
3. Eat an all-tropical-fruit parfait at Mesias' cafe
4. Watch the last sunsetOh, and that reminds me. Big grandsister asked me to give a box to someone with the front name J. She didn't give me any details on how this person looks like, but she did tell me that this person is a boy and a painter. And she also said that i will meet this person in around 10 days during the evening.
I have a feeling this was supposed to be her task, but it looks like she pushed it over to me! GEEZ! I'll have to ask her to buy me something as payment. I wonder what?
.
.
Once the sun starts to set, i decided to end the pool break. After that, I remembered the rose petals Hannah sent. She gave them to me since the roses are starting to wilt. Hmm, i wonder what i'll do with them- ah!Well well.. ahem hem!
A pure lady like me must feel the pleasures of having a rose milk bath at least once. Maybe i'll have some wine and cheese place on a wooden board on the side of the tub. Oh and a few lit up scented candles around for the warm hue... Oh my! Doesn't that sound delightful? Ehe..hehe.
Excited, i quickly prepared the tub with warm water and start putting in the rose petals. Oho ho ho ho! THIS WILL BE LEGENDARY-
When everything is ready, i took off my clothes and soaked in.
Uwaah..
I can already feel my skin getting softer and lighter! Although that's probably just my exagerating imagination. But i hope it works.
I grabbed the bottle of wine and poured it into my wine glass. I think i'll just drink 3 glasses in case i were to get drunk because of the moment.
Now then! I'll just sit here and let my mind drift off to anywhere it wants. I hope you have an enjoyable evening, and a great summer waiting for you!
