Chapter 13.2. A Favour

The next day, after the results are in, we went back to work. unfortunately i didn't win but it was a bit fair considering NANCY WORE ANOTHER LIMITED ITEM!! Hmp!

We headed to work after the competition like usual, and everyone is still ordering that green tea ice cream that Han advertised. The day went well, and i took the time to figure out what i should make for dinner.

Until the manager suddenly called me, Nancy, and Sena to meet at the staff room.

'I'm sorry, but can the three of you take the evening shift today? Just now i had 3 people who called that they can't come today.'

'What?! How?' Sena asked in a hard tone.

'Well..'

Turns out one had a huge hangover, another had a cold, and the other one also had to work the evening shift because of the lack of workers there.

So the 3 of us had no choice but to work the rest of the evening.

Although i don't mind since the cafe has been working steadily.

Once my evening shift had ended, i quickly went home to make dinner and clean the house.

After everything is tidy and done, Don came back home and we ate together at the dining table like we usually do.

And while we were eating, Don told me that both Kyle and Lou is going to come visit the shop again tomorrow.

It turns out they wanted to ask me about something.

'Do you know what they're going to ask me?' I asked.

'No. They.. didn't tell me anything.'

'I see. Well, that's alright. But i might come home a bit later than usual tomorrow. So please tell them i'll be able to meet them at noon.'

'I will.'

'Thank you. Ah! Speaking of which.'

'?'

'I bought a new face mask today. Would you like to try them on with me?'

'..sure.' Don nodded.

Ehehe, i've always wanted to do this with Don. Especially when i saw him looking very groggy when i came back home from my small trip!

Hmm hmm~ A full facial service by 'Mary, The Magic Fingers'. Oh my my~ Sounds very relaxing doesn't it? Oho ho ho ho! Eye-bags eye-bags fly away!

The next day, i took the shift to the evening since i have to replace Diane who is still sick. I hope she gets well soon.

When i got back home however, i saw two familiar male figures waiting at my front door.

i gave the both of them a cup of tea and took a seat in front.

'DId the two of you wait too long?' i asked

'No, we actually just arrived when we saw you.' Kyle replied.

'I see. So what are you here for?'

'I came here to ask you for a small favour.' Lou said with his legs crossed on his chair.

'A favour?'

'I'd like you to model for me.'

..huh? Model?

'Model?'

'Yes,' Lou handed me a small business card.

"Golden Crown", isn't that the name of that famous elegant attire shop?! All celebrities are going crazy about getting one of his designs. Even Han told me that he had a hard time buying the suit he wore for his MV! I-is this really the real thing?
