Chapter 4.1. Star Jam (Hannah's POV)

Starting my day off by going to work is part of my daily routine. I arrived at the flower shop where i worked. Before i went inside, 'Big Lily' the friendly cute cat with cream fur and eyes as brown as chestnuts came and said hello.

I played with her for a minute, adoring this fluffy adorable fat cat and after that, i went to the staff room. I put away my coat which was covered in Big Lily's fur, and wore my apron. I tied my hair up into a bun and after a final look at the mirror, i went out of the room and start working.

I began by helping the owner unpack all the flowers that were delivered to us just now. And as soon as that was done, i star dealing with the customers.

Mr. Jaks will have a small boquet of different types of flowers for his dinner table with his wife.

Diana who is a student in a flower arrangement club will get a bouquet of any kind of flowers depending on the theme she'll tell me.

Ms. Sasha will have a bouquet of roses for her to bathe in.

And my niece, Fred. A 6 year old boy who caught my heart the first day i see him.

Each day everyday, he'll come to the shop and ask for one random flower. He will take the flower and give it to someone he met on that same exact day he bought it.

Today, he went up a young couple who is shyly enjoying their date and gave them the yellow flower he bought. And with a pure smile formed on his face, he'll then say brightly to them 'Flower for you!'

Seeing him like that in front of my eyes makes me want to steal him away from my big sister. So cute! Oh i wish i had brought my phone to record that. Since big sis is out on a business trip, Fred will be in my care FOR THE WHOLE DAY! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I SHALL HAVE ALL THE CUTENESS TO MYSELF!

That moment i came back to my senses.

I remembered that Fred is turning 7 this week. 7 years huh? So it has been 7 years since that incident accured.

I remember that day clear as daylight. On the day Fred was born, 12 AM at the hospital room. My sister had just given birth to Fred who is now in between her arms. And on the window beside her bed, were countless stars that were on the vivid night sky.

I was amazed by the view that it made me silent.

The news on the tv was showing the beautiful starry sky. Telling that there was no prediction about the stars showing up Tonight. And normally to see the stars this bright, the buildings near the hospitals should have their lights off.

It was a very beautiful sight to see. And when i told Fred about it, he began to love the stars.

And since i knew that, i decided to bring him to a nearby planetarium that just opened a few weeks ago, for his birthday present. Since i heard that the planetarium sells star merchandise, i know this is the right place for Fred.

The next day, i went to work first as i decide to tell Fred about our plans on his birthday when he came to the shop.

Today he bought a white petunia and gave it to an elder who was out for a walk. He came back inside and took a seat on the couch at the staff room like he always does. When my day of work ended, i woke the sleeping Fred who ws napping on the couch.

I took a picture before i wake him up because he looked too adorable to not be photo(ed). I woke him up and told him about my plans for his birthday.

His face litted up quickly and started jumping up and down on the couch.

'Woah woah are you that happy Freddie??'

'MH! MH! WE CAN WATCH THE STARS!!'

'Of course!! It's getting abit dark outside so why don't we end the day, take a rest and get ready for tomorrow?'
