Chapter 10. Grandmitch

'Those two are great children aren't they, Mr. Ocean?'

I said as the sound of the light waves whispers to my ears.

'They would make a great couple too don't you think? And i believe they'll visit you again in a few more days. Maybe clean you up a little too! Well i won't be able to stay much longer now! I have a person waiting for me back home and i have to visit my dear grandmitch since i promised to too!' I stood up and gave the sea a last look 'Then, goodbye.'

It must be a weird scene for you isn't it? To talk to the ocean like this. And alone too!

But pay no matter because i'm very sure that the ocean would like to listen to what you would like to say too. It could be lonely without anyone to talk to too you know!

Now then, off to visiting my dear grandmitch! It's only one train away from this station so it'll all be quick.

*knock knock*

'Granny!'

As i said those words to the front door of a small house, i heard a sound of someone's quick footsteps from the door. And it is-

'OH MY DARLING, MARY!' Grandmitch exclaimed as she opens her arms wide open for a hug.

I reached out to her arms and start to hug her REALLYY tightly!

'GRANNY!!' I shouted happily.

It has been about 4 months since i have seen her. So of course i miss her!

'I brought you my Melody Jam and Tropical Jam, granny!'

'Oh darling, thank you so much for these! Oh look! Your hair! Did you use the hair growth jam i gave you?'

'Mhh! I thought i'd like to have a bit of a change so i used it!'

Oh, there's the smell of sugar on the air. Is grandmitch in the middle of making something?

'Wait, are you in the middle of making something, granny?'

'Oh, did the smell caught your nose? Well dear, i'm in the middle of making your brother, Iden's jam.'

'Oh? Was it the 'Wave Jam' you told me about? The one that makes glowing beach wave shapes appear on the roof?'

'Yes. I am still in the middle of cutting the 'Sunbeach' flower petals to tiny pieces. Won't you come and help me, dear?'

'Well of course! I'll help!' I said as i walked myself into the house.

I know the recipe to make Wave Jam since it was written in grandmitch's RecBook. It's great for babies since it acts as a nightlight and it doesn't contain any sugar and doesn't have any taste! Which makes it perfect to mix into any drinks!

I had planned on making it, but i wasn't able to since i need to cast a spell on it to make it all work. Oh such a bummer!

I am a magicless witch afterall. So there are a few things i can't make. There's also that 'Nautilus' Jam which i planned on making before i decided to go for 'Jellyfish Jam', that can make you swim better and not let any sealife attack you. Which is very useful for me since i never truly learnt how to swim well and the only water move i know is how to float!

But unfortunately as it is the same case with Wave jam, i wasn't able to make it since it needs a protection spell casted on it. I could ask my big grandsis, Hailey to help me, but she is busy so i can't do that.

So right now, i am very VERY happy to be helping my grandmitch make Wave Jam! This is also an important chance for me since this is for Iden afterall. I never had the chance to make him something this year.
