“So how is it going with Kevin?” Myra asked as she, Nate and Daniella entered the paddock. “You guys went to five dates now.”

“Its going okay,” Daniella replied. “But…it sounds stupid, but I just don’t feel the spark with him.”

“Wait, Kevin the reporter guy?” Nate questioned.

Daniella nodded.

“Why? I mean what is wrong with you?” Nate laughed. “He is the most boring guy I have ever met.”

Myra hit his arm so that he will lower his voice.

“But he is a nice guy,” Daniella replied.

“Do you get excited when you see him in the paddock or when you are about to go on a date with him?” Nate asked.

“No…I don’t know.”

“Then it doesn’t matter if he is a nice guy,” Nate shook his head. “He is not the one for you.”

“How did you get in here?” Daniella gasped. Her ex was in her driver’s room, waiting for her.

“Umm…George helped me sneak in,” Lando nervously blurted.

“You need to leave,” Daniella was about to open the door but Lando stopped her as he hold her arm.

“No…I will leave once we talk,”

“There is nothing to talk about.” Daniella looked angry. “You cheated and we broke up.”

Lando looked hurt as he was once again reminded of his mistake.

“It was never my intention to cheat…” he tried to defend himself.

“Okay so what was your intention when you shoved your tongue down that psychotic intern's throat in front of half of the grid?” Daniella asked as she crossed her arms.

Lando looked pale. This is not how he imagined the conversation to go.

“What was your intention when you went home with her that night?”

“I wouldn’t have went home with her if I had known you came back early from Milan to surprise me,” he tried to justify his actions. “And that week Pierre was with you and Sarah told me that…”

“Oh that bitch has a name.”

“She told me that you two were pictured together…kissing… and I was..I was angry and jealous and I was not thinking clearly. But you got there before we left, you could have stopped me…you could have stopped me from cheating.”

Daniella had to restrain herself with every ounce of self control to not lash out and slap him.

“Did you see any photos of me and Pierre before you decided to cheat on me?” she asked, her voice dangerously calm.

Lando looked down as he felt extremely guilty.

Daniella scoffed as his silence gave her the answer.

“But I still love you…and I have made sure that Sarah was fired,” he said, struggling to meet her eyes. “You and I deserve a second chance Ellie…we can make this work.”

“I will never be able to trust you, no matter what you do or how hard you try,” Daniella said honestly.

Lando eyes started watering as he felt the pain in his heart.

“El please…I love you,” he cried. “And I know you love me too…remember you said you will always love me?”

“A small part of me will always love you,” Daniella tried her best not to cry. “But I am not in love with you anymore. You broke my heart in the worst way possible and I can never forget or forgive you for that.”

George returned from his interview, almost forgetting that he help Lando get into Daniella’s driver’s room. He was about to text him to ask how did it go but just then Lando got out of the room. His eyes were puffy, and he looked sad and heart broken.

“Hey, how did it go?” George looked concerned, but he can already imagine the answer.

“She is never going to forgive me,” Lando replied before walking out.

George can’t help but feel bad for Lando but at the same time he felt relieved, not sure why.

He looked at the closed door of Daniella’s room, wondering how she is doing. Is she holding up okay or just as heartbroken as Lando.

He wanted to knock and ask her but decided against it. But unknown to him, Daniella broke down the second Lando left the room.

It has been months since their break up but till this day it feels like a fresh wound. She never thought her first love is going to cause her so much pain.

Daniella took a deep breath before wiping away the tears from her face. The sadness in her is now replaced by anger. She is angry at both Lando and George. One cheated on her, and the other one helped the cheater get into her room, which ultimately resulted into her breakdown that she has been trying to prevent for months.

George was worried, both for himself and for Daniella. She has been driving very aggressively, of course no one is effected by it but it is far from her driving style. Even everyone at the garage was shocked by how Daniella is performing.

But she did manage to get pole by a huge margin. George however qualified sixth and Lando qualified fifteenth.

Daniella finished her interviews quickly and went to find her teammate who just entered his driver’s room.

George was halfway taking off his suit when Daniella barged in and shut the door loudly. Once again he was shirtless in front of her but this time she is seeing nothing but red.

“I know you hate me and want to see me fail and broken but if you interfere in my personal life again I will destroy you,” she said through her gritted teeth, making George go pale.

He has never seen her this angry and she has never talked to him or anyone like this ever.

“Dani…I am really sorry,” he sincerely apologized. He never thought helping Lando will cause her to be this much angry. “Lando asked me to help and…”

“I don’t want any explanation or apology,” Daniella cut him off.

Before George could say anything Daniella left, leaving him feeling guilty and worried for her. This is not the Daniella he knew. And only then he realized how much she has changed in the last few months, she used to brighten up the paddock with just one laugh and now he rarely see her do that, and he can’t help but blame Lando for it.
