"So, there was a big festival?"

"Mhm! Super big!"

Mei and Tomo were just talking to each other in the art room about the day before, but it seemed that (Y/N) had forgotten one teeny detail about it...

"I never thought you would go on a festival..."

"Hm? Really? It was really fun, I'll make you some dango next time there's a festival, and we can watch the fireworks here from the atelier! I'm sure it's high enough to see it..."

"How did you get to know about it? I doubt you found out yourself..."

"Why is it that everyone thinks I have no social life?" (Y/N) head hung down.

"Maybe because your best friend is a ghost, your human friends has ghost friends, and your crush is an exorcist."

"S-sh!" Tomo put a finger in front of her mouth and looked around, scared someone heard her. Then she let out a quick "phew" when no one was around.

"See? Still, who told you about a festival?"

"That was Teru-Kun."

"Oh, as a suggestion."

"Yeah! We had really fun together!" Mei coughed on air.

"IMSORRYWHATYOUNGMISS?!"

"Heh? Wasn't that like the first thing I said...?"

"No, you were busy talking about Takoyaki!"

"It was really good though..." Mei face palmed.

"You mean you just forgot to tell me you were on a date yesterday?" now it was (Y/N)'s turn to get no air.

"A d-d-date?! NO!" bright red, redder than the tomatoes Nene grew in the garden. That's how you describe the short girl's face properly. "W-we just went to a festival and played some games and ate snacks and watched firework!"

"So you're telling me you didn't even realize it was a date?"

"He meant it as a friendly activity!"

"And how are you so sure?" Mei said teasingly. "With how oblivious you are it wouldn't shock me if you totally missed it..."

"Not oblivious! Next topic please." the other girl put her glasses higher up on her nose and sighed.

"You are so hard to deal with and you don't even see it or understand why..." she then smiled a little for her self. "Promise to never change."

"Huh? Ah, yes ma'am!" if she was gonna let go of the festival, she'd make any promise.

"Well, then we're done." Mei suddenly said and looked at the paintings the two of them were putting up. "So you're free to go."

"Oh, you want me gone?"

"Let me rest."

"Okay... pft, rest in peace."

"I heard that, and it was not funn-" she didn't get to finish before the short girl had left the room. "Oh god. What am I to do with her..." Mei sighed and went back to her painting.

"Okay, what now? she sighed.

Why is it always hard finding what to do when you're bored?

Tomo kept walking around bored, but really couldn't think of anything. Maybe draw? That was what she was supposed to do before Mei chased her away...

There was still people in the corridor, most of them going to their clubs. (Y/N) walked past the cooking club (where they all cleaned up), the photography club (evoking pictures), the dance club (doing warm ups in their studio) and the literature club (not deleting Sayori). She was positive many of them would end any time now, so she really wanted to find what to do before they all came out into the corridors ad she would be mistaken for a lost first year.
