"Tell me, do you trust our gossip royalty?"

"Well, yes... but it's still gossip."

"You should believe if you trust. Ever heard the story of the man and his lover?"

"What story?"

"A man lost his lover to the underground, but he was allowed to get her back. However, if he looked behind him even once, then his lover would be stuck in the underground. The lover followed the man, but since he didn't hear her steps, he turned around, and thus she became stuck."

"Why do you tell me an old story?"

"It means trust is worth much more than you think, and you should trust."

"So... you think it's true?"

"Just look for a second, that's enough to make me sure."

What was all this talking about? Gossip royalty? Let me tell you.

As (Y/N) and Teru had already told many about them dating, Dai decided to help them out. In secret. And as the schools most knowing gossip girl, the easiest way was to spread a slight rumor... it started with the girl from the occult club, who slowly decided it was a dark power that told her to tell the girl in the home ec room she met when she was cleansing the room from spirits, and that girl in turn told the club leader for the cooking club, and in turn she told the karate club leader, who told the newspaper leader, who told her club member who just so happened to be a great gossiper. And that, my friend, is the power of a gossip royalty. Everyone already suspected it was her, and when one of her friends asked if she knew the gossip, she did even though none of her sources had told her (she just said "ehe" with a cute face and hand rubbing the back of her neck when they figured her out).

Well, in any case, now the rumors were spreading like a wild fire all over school, and as fast as someone saw (Y/N) with Teru, she either got "aww's", glares or jealous sights. Some people actually came up and congratulated her, without even saying why, and guess how confused the shortie became then.

"Hey! Congrats girl!" the 315 person of the day said as she passed Tomo and Teru.

"Seriously.. what the hell is going on?" (Y/N) sweat dropped. "They either glare at me or congrats me..."

"Well, maybe you did something good that others wanted to do but you did it before them?"

"Honestly, nothing would surprise me anymore- wah!!" what cut the girl's sentence?

Well, for the first time, Mei actually showed herself in the middle of the hallway even though people were there, not that anyone could see her.

"Keep it down or people will think you need to go to mental hospital. That'd make a great excuse to get you out of the way." Mei sighed and put her braids right and fixed her glasses. Had she gone there that fast?

"What do you mean?" (Y/N) whispered.

"Oh? Haven't you heard? Sorry, I forgot you lack a social life."

"I'd like to yell at you, but I can't." (Y/N) said with a sweet yet demonic smile.

"Well, there are rumors about you and Minamoto Teru dating, and everyone believes them." Mei said with a matter-of-fact tone, as Tomo paled with a small smile. You could basically seeing her life sip away from her. "Don't you dare join me now." Mei forced it back.

"Huh... so that's why they stare at me... But how...?"

"Oh, probably that Aijin, she seemed to know even before these rumors, and Yashiro Nene don't really seem like the gossip type more than to Akane Aoi, who wouldn't gossip to the whole school."

A gentle smile was seen for a few seconds, before it faded as (Y/N) muttered something about "going to the student council for a while"

"Ah, no. Don't think so, because a very mad girl is heading towards you."

"A very mad girl?" (Y/N) turned around and saw... could you guess it? Himari. As in SSWACOT Himari? Yeah, you know her.

"Is it true..." the girl looked down as she approached (Y/N). "Are the rumors true...?"

"I'm afraid I'm not much of a gossip girl but if we think of the same-"

"ARE YOU DATING MINAMOTO-SENPAI?!"

Ya, I'm quite sure the whole hall went quiet.

"Wow, you got some voice girl. You do know you could ask him yourself? He's here."

Teru's eyes were widened and he didn't know what to say.

"Hah." was all that came from him.

"So, is that a total rejection or...?" Himari asked, and (Y/N) had no idea what to say.

"Well... it's complicated..."

"That's all you can say? Did he reject you or what?" Himari said triumphant.

"Ugh, do you know what minding your own business means?" Tomo sighed annoyed and was about to turn away, but Himari stopped her.

"Oh wait, you're too ugly for Minamoto-Senpai, why would he be with yo?" Himari laughed a little, as she couldn't see (Y/N)'s face.

The short girl was gritting her teeth as her eyes burnt, not of sadness but of anger and humiliation. Try being called ugly in public by yourself, it would not be very fun.

The poor girl trembled a little, but decided to walk away before Himari could give her more comments, but a certain someone caught her arm.

"Ah, now that was a little too mean, wasn't it?" Teru smiled, but in the same way as Tomo had done when she was mad. "You see, Tomo is a really sweet and nice girl, and I'd stand on her side forever, and calling her ugly is just a plain lie. See? She has a great charm in her, don't you think?" Himari stood stunned.

"So, you'd rather pick her before, say.. Akane Aoi? Or me? Or even goddammit a model?" Himari smiled, not believing what he would say.

"You can put it in that way." Teru smiled, hugging (Y/N from behind.

"Aw, now ain't that cute? It's like a royalty picking a poor beggar as voluntary job." Himari laughed behind her hand, but it was visible she was running out of comments.

Then, oh ghosts, you'd not believe what happened, 'cause so didn't (Y/N).

Teru turned around Tomo, lifted her head and kissed her, in front of everyone. And right after, this was his words.

"What am I to say, she's my shortie."

Huuaaawwwww okay no I'm not messed up after writing this (not thinking of Messed up by Once Monsters TvT)

So i, it's me, the author! I came to say a little longer afterwords today, but skip it if you want to.

I have so many plans for Friends, like Teru dating sim moments, taking Mitsuba to the story, give Su and Noai more ship moments, more singing, Dai getting a lover, Nene and Mei moments, bringing Aoi to the story and more. I also planned ending the story with defeating Sakura and Tsukasa, but here I am.

You guessed it... I am ending Friend. This was the last chapter.

Sorry about that, but I can't keep writing more, it doesn't feel like I can continue to keep it up. This wasn't even planned last time I published, but look, here we are... Of course, I'll not stop writing, but I'll focus more on other stories. There might be a day when I publish a new TBHK story, but I can't be sure... I do have ideas, but I think that one might be even shorter...

Also, yay~ I made it all the way to chapter 30! I can end this on a 0 at least. That'l feel refreshing.

Again, sorry about ending so fast, I know some of you might not like that. Heh, last time doing it, here it comes.
