"No, really?"
"It's true. It's all she wants, not shrimp pizza. Only doughnuts."
"Hanako inspiration?"
"Guess so." he laughed.
For the first time ever, (Y/N) and Teru talked to each other in the corridor with people around them. The subject? Tiara's new love for doughnuts.
"She has to eat something else! It's not healthy." Tomo said with laughter in her voice.
"I know, but she really won't."
"Have you tried making sugar free doughnuts? You can glaze them with more food-ish things. Or make bread shaped like doughnuts."
"Are you talking about bagels?" Teru said. "Well, I'll ask Kou to do that, maybe she'll eat it." Teru was interrupted when a familiar face walked up to the duo.
"Wah! I knew it from a mile away! It's (Y/N)-San! Remember me, Aijin-San? Hello Minamoto-Kun, is this your dear friend? I've never seen you two hanging out before!" wow, gurl talk fast. (Heh, I don't think I talk to, talk to, talk to fast. google "chillin with da homies lyrics", my friend sang that for me as a joke)
"Whoa! Hi Aijin-San. Ummm, a mile away? Happy you remember me so well you can see me from far." (Y/N) sweat dropped.
"Hello Aijin-San. This is (L/N) (Y/N), but seems you've already met..."
"Oh yes, couple of times now. She's an innocent, oblivious sweet bean, that's one thing that's sure!"
"Am I really that oblivious though?" (Y/N) said with a smile, to which Aijin face palmed.
"Yeah! You both are a couple of oblivious cinnamon rolls! Oh, speaking of couples, when will you become one?" Aijin snickered.
"W-w-what? Now you've gotta be kidding!" no use hiding it bae, everyone can see your red face (Y/N).
"Ehehe, Aijin-San? Would you not do that please?" Teru tried to not blush, almost managing to not with just tinted pink cheeks.
"Aw, but it's cute seeing your reactions. Thanks for that, your reward is: no work in the council today. Go on a date or something." She snickered and left, waving as she walked.
"A-Aijin-San!" Tomo called after her, steam emitting from her face.
"Hehe." Teru sweat dropped while laughing. "Oh right, I should call you (Y/N)-Chan, right?"
"That's a good idea. No one will get you if you call me Tomo." (Y/N) mused, then looked up at her friend, wait no? Crush? Boyfriend? That might be too early, better ask him later... "We should go to class, perfect boy."
"Am ever going to be set free from that nickname?"
"Nope honey, that's sticking with you."
"We will be doing a group project with groups of two! However, since we are an odd number, one group will have three comrades." That's what Sensei said in class today. Are they trying to sound cool? Comrades? That's kinda weird.
However, that wasn't on (Y/N)'s mind right now. Wanna know why? I'll let you see the POV directly.
(Y/N) POV
oh nononono
I gotta talk to strangers?
I pray to all the spirits! Give me someone I know! Teru! Muku! Even that girl Muku knew would be fine! Just not a stranger!
And so, everyone in class took turns to go up to the front and take a note on who to get partnered up with. Do you know what? Since (Y/N) sits in the back by the window, he got to get the note last, meaning she'd be in a group of three. Bigger chance she'd be with people she didn't know. She prayed to get Muku or Muku's friend, since they were paired up. But nope. This is the note she got.
Himari Ayano
Wait, like mean Himari? Rooftop Himari? SSWACOT Himari? Okay, this is not going to be fun...
So, she went to find Himari's desk, where her partner sat. She got a glare from the girl as she sat down, she seemed to have been happy with her partner.
Oh wait. Who is her partner?
Thank god. Thank Buddha. Thank all the spirits.
It was Teru.
"Okay, so should we get started?" he said, pencil in hand. He was the one to write down key words, (Y/N) would search information and Himari would make the essay.
"Wow..." Himari sighed happily, not looking at what she wrote.
"Himari-San, be careful of what you're writing." Tomo said as the pencil Himari held made a long black line on the paper.
"Yeah, yeah." she said, but looked up again as fast as she had erased the error.
(Y/N) followed her eyes to see what catched her interest so much.
Minamoto Teru, sitting focused writing down key words. No surprise there. However, Tomo had to admit that he looked good doing that.
"Hey, Teru-Kun, there's something weird here, can you help me?" (Y/N) then said as she was searching information.
"Hmm? Oh yeah. What's weird?" he stood up and walked to behind her, looking over her shoulder onto the computer she used.
"Well, it says this, but on another website it says the opposite. This seems more believable, but this website is the most trustworthy. Who to believe?" she asked, while clicking from one website to another.
"Have you checked more websites for what they say?"
"I'm on it." she searched up the same thing, but opened a new site. "It says the same as the trustworthy site. I'll check more websites to make sure, but I think this is the true option."
"I trust your judgement."
"Thanks for the help." Tomo smiled a little to the side, where she could see Teru's face in the corner of her eye. It seemed neither noticed how close their faces was, but that did Himari notice.
"Oh. My. God. Do you two have to act like a married couple?!" she suddenly exclaimed, making the whole lass turn to her. "I mean, just look at you both! You're as close as if you'd be kissing! Just hurry up and date already, it's not like it'll last." Himari puffed, but then the color in her face drained when she saw the look in a girl's eyes.
No, it wasn't (Y/N) again, she was too dumbfounded to say anything, with Teru beside her, just standing still with widened eyes.
It was actually two girls, now, the second jumping after her friend. The people growling at Himari were Muku Sutōkā and her friend Uchikudaku Noai.
"Who.. who are you to say such things?" Uchikudaku said with dark eyes, she was a rather tall girl with short brown hair, rather pretty.
"Noai-Chan is right... who are you to say so? If they'd date they would probably have a long love, maybe life out. You wouldn't know, maybe they're soulmates. I spoke to Minamoto-San not many days ago, and after some pushing, he told me he had a crush. That crush could be her." Muku said with rage.
"I don't think anyone who doesn't know them properly has the right to say anything. So, Himari-San, you. Should. Shut. Up." the people around were all quiet as death. You could hear a pin drop, as Himari stood there.
"So what, we're all gonna deny the fact that they might be dating in secret?" she then said, to which Muku answered.
"Yes, we'll deny that. It's none of our business." and so, the bell rang, and out came a class full of piping hot gossip.
Heh, I brought in Muku's friend Noai, but her last name is too long...
So, anyone liking the little drama and shipping in his chapter? This was one of those chapters I loved to write, such joy...
hope you enjoyed~!
