Chapter 10: First training

Namjoon pov:
"we are now out of the fire nation and we will camp here." Yoongi annouces as he lands Oempa "we should rest, eat and you can start with your training."
I nodded at him "Thank you."
"Finally." Jungkook jumps off the sky bison "I like flying but feeling the earth beneath me is making me feel alive."
"So Namjoon which element would you like to start with first?" Jimin asks me as he got off Oempa with shaking legs, he still wasn't used to flying "Your waterbending is already pretty great but your earthbending is rocky." he laughs because of his own joke "But you haven't even started on airbending yet."
"I know Jimin." I sigh " Thank you for reminding me that I can't bend the other elements even though there is a war upon us."
"I am sorry." my brother tells me "I wasn't mocking you or anything, I just wanted to help."
"I know." I hug him "I am sorry for lashing out, I am just worried that I won't become the avatar the nations need me to bed."
"Don't worry You will be an amazing avatar." Jimin smiles encouraging me "I believe in you."
"Maybe it is better to start with earthbending." Yoongi cuts in "Since you have already thrown an rock according to your brother."
"Earthbending it is." I nod looking at Jungkook.
Jungkook smirked at me "Follow me."
"This is going to be great." Taehyung beams happy before pulling me after them "Come one Jiminie, let's watch."

"So what is the first step?" I ask Jungkook.
"Take off your shoes." he replies.
"Why?" I eye his shoes that were still on.
"You can feel the earth and his vibrations better this way. " He explains before pointing to his own feet "My sools are metal, so I can bend it in a certain way what causes my feet to touch the ground while I bend."
"Very well." I nod taking them off.
"Now copy my stance." Jungkook instructs me.

After training for a few hours I felt exhausted and I only managed to lift up a boulder. "Don't feel discouraged hyung." Jungkook pats my back "You did good for your first time,"
"you should have seen Jungkook during his first time earthbending." Taehyung laughs at the memory of his childhood friend first bending experience "He dropped the boulder on his foot."
"Tae." Jungkook whines "You promised to never tell that story to anyone, it is embarresing and now Namjoon will never take me serious again."
"On the contuary." I reply "It makes me respect you even more knowing that you struggled as well and still became this amazing earthbending who can also bend metal."
"Thank you." he smiles "You will become even better than me someday."
"Thanks." I nod as we reached the campsite.

"Took you guys long enough."Hoseok shouts "Did you guys have fun playing in the mud?"
"We did." Jungkook laughs.
"Well Yoongi has even started cooking for us, since it will become dark soon." he answers.
Taehyung jumps up happy "Yoongi is an amazing cook, I can't wait to taste it." Then he ran towards his boyfriend hugging him tight making the both of them giggle.
"Well I am hungry." I say.
