Chapter 20: Firebending

Taehyung p.o.v: 
"Be careful." Yoongi kisses me.
I smiled at him as they walked away "You as well." 
While the others were going to distract Kai we made our way under ground through a hatch Namjoon found with his earthbending. "Okay so now what?" Jimin asks.
"We follow the tunnels." Hoseok replies taking the lead "And keep an eye out for Jungkook."
"We don't really have another choice." I reply.
"Hoseok can I ask you a question?" Jimin asks "Why don't you want to firebend anymore, it could have helped you and Jungkook back in the ally."
Hoseok sighs "it's complicated but I joined the firenation army in order to look for Jin. But during my time as a soldier they made me use my firebending as a torture technique. I needed to eletrocute innocent people with my lighting, burned them and even raised their bodytemperature so they would be boiling from the inside. It was cruel and that experience made me swore to never use firebending again to hurt others."
"That is evil," I say in shock "I thought those bending technique's were forbidden."
"I thought so to." Hoseok replies sadly"But with Akai on the throne anything is allowed."
"That is horrible, I am sorry you had to go through that." Jimin says.
"After I left I learned chi blocking so I could prevent people from using those technique's again." He explains.
"I am sorry for asking." Jimin tells him,
"Don't be, you all deserve to know why I don't want to firebend anymore since we are friends and are travelling together."
"Just do what feels right for you." I pat Hoseok his back.
"I see cells ahead." Jimin shouts picking up his pace.
"Jungkook." I call for him.
"He is here." Jimin gasps and as we looked in the cell we saw Jungkook lay motionless on the floor, burn wounds on his face, hands, feet and back. I noticed Hoseok gulp probably because he felt quilty. "He is not waking up." Jimin replies panicking "What do we do?"
I looked in de cell that was holding Jungkook, it was made of wood so he couldn't use his bending. I even doubted he could bend because of the severe burn marks on his body. I grabbed my sword and started to chop the wood. "Hoseok keep watch, Jimin bend the water in your flesk to cut the wooden bars with me."
It took a while but we managed to free Jungkook. Jimin immediatly examined his injuries, tears welling up in his eyes "It is bad, but he is still breathing, we have to get him out of here to a place with a lot of water, so I can heal him otherwise the burns will leave permanent damage."
"let's go." I reply as I help Jimin with lifting up Jungkook. We walked through the tunnels but when we arrived above ground we were surrounded by the bandits. 
"What do we do?" Jimin looks worried at Jungkook who was still unconscious. 
"Something that I hate." Hoseok speaks up "I swore to never use my fire to hurt others but I can use it to safe us."
"Hoseok are you sure about this?" I ask him now knowing what he went through.
"Firebending is a part of me, i ran away from it ever since I left the army it is time I use it for something good again. " Tears well up in his eyes. I noticed he was struggeling with it."
"I am proud of you." Jimin then tells Hoseok. 
Hoseok gave us a small smile before closing his eyes creating a circle of fire around us before sending it at the bandits.
