Chapter 18: Enemy

Jungkook p.o.v: 
"So what is good firenation food?" I ask Hoseok as I plucked at the red outfit I needed to wear to blend in. 
"Depends on what you like." he answers before buying some fruit from a marketstand.
"You guys look familiair." the marketman tells us.
" We hear that a lot." Hoseok smiles politely at the man "We travelled around with the circus a lot."
"Ah I see." The man nods "Well have a great day."
"same to you." Hoseoks bows his head before pulling me after him.
"That was close." I let out a breath of relief "and some quick thinking from you."
Hoseok shruggs "I am very resourcefull."
"But not the smartest." a hooded guy replies Jumping down from the roof next to us "You are the fugitives that freed the traitor prince." Then he threw off his hood "Long time no see Hoseok."
"Kai." Hoseok hisses "Never thought I would have the pleasure to run into you again." I looked between the two confused as the seem to know each other.
"You finally managed to free your friend only to run into me." Kai chuckles "The firelord would pay me a hefty sum of money for the two of you, so tell me where is Seokjin."
"Out of your reach." I spit at him, not liking the guy.
"I will cut you a deal." he smirks "I will let you two go in exchange for Seokjin."
"Not happening." Hoseok glares at him.
"Then you leave me no other choice." he sighs before whisteling "Get them boys."
Then mutiple people joined us and started to attack us, I stomped down my foot making a big wall of earth seperating us from them "Run hyung." I scream at Hoseok.

We started to run though the market, with Kai and his people hot on our heels. I threw rocks at them, knocking a few of them out. But they were still on out trail. Fire was fired at us but one of their fireballs scratched my cheek, making me grunt out in pain as my cheek got burned. Hoseok looked at me worried. "I am fine." I say through gritted teeth not giving into the burning feeling.  But I had spoken to soon as fire hit me in de back, making me fall on the ground as the flames scorch away my clothes and skin. Hoseok put the fire out by placing his jacket on my back and helped me up dragging me with him while I kept bending earth through the pain. We turned into an ally but to our luck it was a dead end. Hoseok curses. "What do we do now?" I grunt feeling suffocated "Hoseok I can't breath." 
"Hold on Kook." Hoseok tells me "Stay with me, take deep breaths."
"No where to run now." Kai and his group catched up to us, trapping us in the alley.
"Hoseok do you chi thing." I say between ragged breaths, the pain in my back and cheek getting harder to bear. Hoseok tried to attack but Kai catches his movements stopping Hoseok from blocking his chi. "No." I yell before placing my hands firm on the ground, making Hoseok shot up from the earth out of Kai his grip. Kai lost his balance and fell down, he glared at me before shooting his fire at me burning my hands. I fell down screaming in pain and I could hear Hoseok yell for me terrified. I tried to use my feet to earthbend but kai had already reached me and places a knife against my throat before looking at Hoseok with a wicked smile "Surrender or I kill him."
"Don't." Hoseok says with a hoarse voice "We surrender."
"No." I reply sobbing from the pain before pushing kai away from me and launching Hoseok over the wall of the ally with my earth so he could get away.
"That is unfortunate." Kai glares at me "But don't worry, you will also be worth a lot of money, but we can't have you pull a stunt like that again." And at that moment he burned my feet, making me scream in agony before I passed out.
