Chapter 23: Call me Jin

Namjoon p.o.v:
After We climbed on Oempa his back Jimin was holding Jungkook tight while caressing his hair. I smiled at my brother who was gazing at Jungkook with worry and love. I averted my gaze to Seokjin who was still holding Hoseok in his arms only had the younger fallen asleep at the moment. "Is he okay?" I ask Jin.
Seokjin smiles "He will be, Hoseok used firebending again today for the first time in a long time while. You know when he joined the army in order to search for me, they forced him to torture people with his bending. He wrote me many times when he found out where I was held, he told me  that he was scared of hurting others with his fire again and that he swore to never bend again. But today he faced his past and used his fire for something good. I am proud of him for making that step."
"What about your past?" I ask him knowing that Kai and he have history together.
He looks down sadly "Kai and I used to date."
"I gathered that from what you said to him earlier." 
" I loved him." He sighs " But he hurt me . You know I had an younger sister and she wasn't a firebender but she was hellbend on training and becoming stronger. When our father refused to let her train she begged Kai to train her behind my back, scared that if I found out, I would tell our dad. Kai honored her wishes but one day he accidently used his fire in a practice fight what caused her life to end early. He hided and went to my uncle not ready to face my fathers wrath. My uncle promised him immunity if he helped him stop me from becoming the next firelord. Kai was scared and agreed so my uncle made it look like bandits attacked my sister and killed her. I only found out what had happend to my sister when my uncle barged into my room accusing me of my fathers dead. Kai was standing behind him not a trace of remorse or sadness on his face at that moment I knew he had betrayed me. The man I loved betrayed me by planting fake evidence in my room and spreading rumors but on top of that he killed my sister by accident yes but he still killed her. I hate him and never want to see him again but I hate my uncle more since everything he did was intentional and now he is hurting innocents and other nations shaming the name of my family. " 
"Seokjin listen to me, I will make sure you will regain your place as rightfull firelord and stop Akai, you have my word."
He grabs my hand with a small smile " call me Jin all my friends call me Jin."
"Namjoon do you want to go back to Taehyung his island?" Yoongi asks us interupting our conversation. 
"Let's go somewhere else I am afraid we will be followed and I don't want Taehyung his place to get attacked." I answer " above all Kai and his men will have informed the fire nation about our encounter by now.
"We can hide in the swamp." Taehyung suggest "It is not likely that the firenation will search for us there."
