Former Legend Ray Palmer, and Cisco Ramon – who was a former member of Team Flash – showed up to help us figure out who the other three paragons were, and they were more than willing to help us given the circumstances.

"I thought we defeated that bastard" said Ray.

"And we thought so too. I was there when you destabilized him and sent him to the Microverse" said Clark.

"Well, I guess it's true what they say, bad guys never seem to be done and over with their evil schemes" said Ray.

"In Spanish, we have a saying '¡Hierba mala nunca muere!'" I said.

"Which means?" asked Ray.

"The literal translation is 'Poisonous herbs never die' but the meaning is that bad people will generally always be around to cause havoc regardless of what you do."

"That makes reasonable sense" he said.

"Yeah. It definitely applies right about now" I sighed.

"Okay, I think we can start looking for the remaining two paragons" said Cisco, yet another version of the Cisco I knew.

This whole doppelganger situation was starting to give me a migraine.

"So when we find out who the paragons are, how are we going to break the news to them?" I asked, curious to know how we would explain this to them if it turned out they were not heroes.

"We will have to be persuasive" said Ray.

"Something tells me if they are not metas or heroes, they will not believe a damn word we tell them" I said.

"That's going to be complicated" said Ray.

"Do the lives of heroes and vigilantes ever get less complicated?" I asked though I kind of already knew the answer.

"Not really. It tends to get more complicated by the second" said Ray.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" I cringed.

"No, unfortunately, that's the life of a superhero" said Cisco.

"Then I guess I'm screwed" I sighed.

We continued working while trying to maintain a level of calmness, given that the crisis was going to play out all over again.

Then the device that Ray had built to track the paragons started to beep, revealing one of the three remaining paragons.

"Natalie Lane Irons" said Ray. "She is the paragon of Humanity."

"Isn't she Lois Lane's daughter? Or her doppelganger's daughter from Earth-TUD22?" asked Cisco.

"Yes" said Ray. "She certainly is."

"And what about the last two?" I asked.

"They are yet to be revealed. But we'll tell you the moment they are."

"Sounds good" I said, then received a text from Somaya, asking if we could meet up at the diner to talk.

Truth was, I wanted to talk to her too. We have only known each other for a little bit of time but I was starting to like her. I was still in love with Sarah but I realized I had to accept that she and I were never going to be together. I had to move on and I was determined to do so no matter what.
