Later that night the Vikings are inside the Meeting House preparing for battle by having a feast. The Doctor and {Y/n} stand outside listening to booms in the sky.

"Weird sounding thunder," {Y/n} says, looking at the sky.

"That's not thunder. It's the weapon forges of the Mire. They're making sure we hear them," The Doctor replies.

"Oh. Well?"

"Well, Heidi faints at the mentioning of blood, not just the sight anymore. He's actually upgraded his phobia. Chuckles, he questions every single order you give him, which is going to be a little difficult, a little bit tricky, in the heat of battle," he shrugs.

"Yet I'm still waiting to hear your real plan," she states.

"Teaching them to fight, that's the only plan I've got," he says.

"Turning them into fighters, Its not like you," she frowns.

"Yeah. I used to believe that too," he sighs, looking at the ground.

"What happend," she asks, he looks at her.

"You. {Y/n} {L/n} what have i made of you?" he asks, sighing.

"It doesn't matter how hard you train them, it's not going to make a difference,"

"They'll die fighting in honour. To a Viking, that's all the difference to a world," he says.

"A good death? Is that the best they can hope for?"

"A good death is the best anyone can hope for unless you happend to be immortal," Ashilder leaves the Meeting House.

"Sorry," she mutters.

"No, it's no problem," {Y/n} replies.

"Night," the Doctor nods.

"You've made an impact there," she says.

"Stop it," he tuts.

"She's nice. Fight you for her,"

"The human race, you're obsessed. Find yourself a hobby,"

"I have a hobby, thanks. It's you by the way," she smirks.

"Well, get a new one," he says, a side smirk playing at his lips.

"Not this,"

"Tomorrow it's going to be a blood bath," he frowns.

"Doctor..."

"These people died hundreds of years before you were born,"

"Don't do this to yourself,"

"I have a duty of care,"

"You worry so much," she replies, shaking her head.

"Everytime I do something like this, I keep thinking, what if something happens to you?"

"Nothing's going to happen to me, Doctor. How are you supposed to focus on helping this village if all you keep worrying about is what's going to happen to me?" She asks, looking at him.

"I'm not just worrying about what will happen to you,"

"But you are,"

"Your missing my point,"

"No, you're missing my point. How are you ever going to get this village to win if you keep playing soldier. Put your sword down, think about it and look for the answer. Start winning. It's what you're good at," she says. For once, the Doctor doesn't argue.
