A Child's mind is dangerous.

Children are scared of everything, from monsters hiding under their beds to aliens taking over the world. Believe it or not, this happens because a child's mind is thinking above and beyond the times the average mind can. Their imagination can be undetermined, but it holds power even our tiny brains can't imagine.

When children are scared or feel alone. Who hears their cries?

-The Doctor.

{Y/n}'s bedtime stories were much different from any other child's.

From a young age, she learned the name of the man who travelled around in his blue box he called the TARDIS, that could travel around through all of time and space.

Her mother passed not long after her birth. The only thing left was her diary that held tales of her adventures and life story.

With no parents and no other family that could take care of the girl, she was taken into care. An orphanage, until they were able to find her a loving family who were willing to take her in.

When finding the young girl a new home, she grew up to class that family as her very own, regardless if they weren't.

The carer was like a second mother to her and the others? siblings she only wished she had.

When she was old enough and finally learned how to read, she was able to keep her mother's diary as her own.

Every day she spent hours in her room reading over the stories she wrote, sometimes twice if she could.

The diary was used as a dream journal at first, where her mother would write about the dreams she had.

They started as normal - like her dream to travel the whole world or silly crushes from when she went to school and cooking recipes she kept for when she would bake, but as she reads on further, that was when she got introduced to the Thousand-year-old time traveller, who went by the name 'The Doctor.'

This 'Doctor' she occasionally would mention, would appear in her dreams at night to tell her that one day in the future he would come looking for her to take her away with him to travel through all of time and space.

It was beautiful.

Her mother saw this as a sign. A sign that destiny awaited her and that the old-time traveller she dreamt of would be the person to show her the world, finally making her dreams come true. She always knew there was more the life than the basics of her reality.

From then onwards she would jot down the adventure she imagined she would have when meeting him until those days were to finally come.

All that excitement she had built changed when she came across the part where her mother wrote about her pregnancy. She wrote down the names she was thinking of naming her. Names such as Destiny or Riley even pandora. As lovely as they all sounded, she decided with {Y/n}. Simple yet in a way, unique to her.

After a while, the pages fell dull until soon they had nothing left written for her to read.

The last word written by her mother was a note.

Whoever reads this, please will you give it to my child as I leave this for her and only her.

Hello, Love. If you're reading this, I may no longer be in this bizarre place we call our world. Please don't be sad.
