[P.O.V. Zyston Woods]

Voices so many voices I can hear. But can't open my eyes to see who they came from. There was a couple I could recognize, but there are also others I could not. No matter how hard I try to open my eyes or move my body, I just couldn't. What broke me even more was to hear my Adriana cry, begging me not to leave her side. 'Is she crazy?' asking myself. I could never leave her side, no matter what happens between us. She is the light to my darkness. She is the air to my breath. Even for her, I try even harder, but still, nothing happens. The same thing continues, me falling through the darkness, falling endlessly.

I have tried to contact Stryker and Travis to see what is going on with us. For some reason, I can't even get in contact with them. 'What is happening to me? Am I dying? Or in a coma?' Asking myself. What has happened to me that I can't seem to wake up? Just when I thought I would be stuck in this darkness. I saw the light, and the same place the Moon Goddess had talked to Adriana when I rescued her from Lang. It's not the first time I have been to this place. When I was younger, I have come here. It was a time Mother Moon told me about who I really was.

Stryker was resting in the water as Travis was lying by the waterfall. Mother Moon was sitting next to him, petting his dark black fur. Stepping closer, Mother Moon looks at me.

"Mother Moon." Greeting her by bowing my head.

"Zyston, it has been a long time since we last talked." She says

"Its been a few years."

"Time flies by, doesn't it?" She gets up and walks towards Stryker. He leans his head towards her as she pets him on the nose. He makes a soft-like growl of contentment. Before I could even ask her why I was here, she tells me. "I have brought you here to congratulate you on your victory. Also, to talk about some other things."

"Other things? What exactly did you need to talk to me about?" asking her. She walks away from Stryker and sits on the bench. With me taking a stand next to her.

"From your victory, you will, of course, need to wear the mark of the Higher King. Adriana will need to wear the mark of the Higher Queen. Once you two receive your marks, the other Kings, along with their Queens, will receive their royalty marks. These marks are not just marks. They come from the gods and goddess themself. It not only shows your ranks, but shows how proud we are to have you. Second, I need to tell you that your mate has given birth to two beautiful twins. With them being born during the purple moon, they have received great power. A stronger power than anyone has or will see. With this gift, they will need guidance and training." She says.

She looks as if something was troubling her with her last words. My heart swelled with proudness and joy, knowing Adriana had twins. The way the Moon Goddess said her last words also has me very concerned.

"What is it you need to tell me? my Goddess." Asking her with concern.

"There is another prophecy that speaks of twins being born during a purple moon. This prophecy was made even before my time. It's very ancient. It speaks of another war and the Twins of the Purple Moon. They will either destroy their enemy, and thousands of years of peace will spread through the lands. Or they will join their enemy and destroy the lands, and the supernatural world will live in darkness for thousands of years. Therefore they will need guidance and training for the fate of the supernatural world depends on it. The alliances that you have made around the world. Are alliances your children will need for that war. Or those alliances will become the enemy of your children." I didn't know what to say. I was speechless. She stands up and places her hand on my shoulder, motherly like.

"I have faith in my Queen and King to teach the Twins of the Purple Moon to do the right thing. Until then, you will have thirty-five to forty years of peace before the next war comes. Enjoy it, and make wonderful memories." She walks away from me towards a forest path. "Come, Higher King, time to receive your mark and get back to earth."

My mind and emotions are overrun right now with the information I was told. Never the less I still followed her into the forest. Until we got to a fountain with all the other gods and goddesses around it, they looked towards me and congratulated me on my victory. I even got to see all the pack members that died in this war, including my Delta Joseph. I could hug my Mother once again, and Vincent, also Father. After seeing everyone, the gods and goddess placed their hand on my chest and gave me the Higher King Mark.

[P.O.V. Adriana Braxton]

I didn't know if my Alpha Mate was going to die or not. Even if he was, I would not let him die like this. Ordering someone to bring me some hot water, soap, and some clean jeans, I cleaned up his body. I would spend all the time with him when I wasn't taking care of our twins. It has been almost two days since I thought he would never wake up.

Then the strangest thing happened. His entire chest lighted up with different handprints. All his wounds and broken bones healed completely. Then the handprints vanished and left a tattoo on the right side of his chest. It was a heart; it wasn't some cute little girly heart. No, the heart looked like a real beating heart with a compass in the middle of it. Pointing to different symbols that represent the other five kingdoms. On top of the heart was a King's Crown.

Once those handprints disappeared, and the mark on his chest was complete. The most amazing thing happened. His eyes opened. Sitting up in bed slowly, his green emerald eyes stare at me. My heart was over swelled with joy, and my stomach had the biggest butterflies. Overpowered by different emotions. Walking towards him and slapping him hard. He had looked unexpected all over his face.

"YOU ASSHOLE!! YOU HAD ME WORRIED AND SICK ABOUT YOU! NEXT TIME I WILL BE THE ONE THAT KILLS YOU AT LEAST I WILL KNOW YOUR ACTUALLY DEAD!!" Yelling at him. All my fears of losing him were swallowing me, I cry. He stands in front of me and hugs me tight to him. With our mating bond, sparks dancing around my skin, leaving a comforting feeling. "I..I... I thought you were dying... I thought I would never see you again.."

Opening his side of his bond to me again, I could feel everything he had felt. A lot of his emotions were the same as mine. Which only made me cried harder with sadness and joy. For the next few hours, we said nothing. We just enjoyed each other company.

"I love you, Adriana," He says, looking into my eyes while wiping my tears away.

"I love you, too.." Pressing his lips against mine, kissing each other passionately.
